After a release of the locking mechanism, the locking mechanism can be activated only after the flap has been rotated from the open position to the closed position to an extent of at least 30%.

The plug (40) has a plug first and second contact means (41, 42) arranged so that when the plug (40) is inserted into the socket (30) at any position along the height (H) of the opening (34), the socket first and second contact means (31, 32) form an electrical connection with the corresponding plug first and second contact means (41, 42).

The present disclosure provides an adapter assembly. Portion of the main body of the plug adapter is penetrated through the opening and exposed to the exterior of the accommodation space. Each protrusion exposed to the exterior of the accommodation space is connected with the position-limiting portion through the rotation of the plug adapter. Each fastening element is plugged into the first hole and the second hole. The plug adapter is fastened to the casing through the fastening element and the connection between the protrusion and the position-limiting portion. The adapter assembly includes two impact bearing points. One is formed by the fastening element, and the other is formed by the connection between the protrusion and the position-limiting portion. A charging inlet for an electric vehicle (EV) includes a body defining an opening having a conductive terminal arranged therein. A sealing cover is pivotally attached to the body and is moveable between an open position exposing the opening and conductive terminal, and a closed position sealing the opening and the conductive terminal with respect to an external environment. A sealing element of the cover defines a sealing plug including an angled sealing rib defined about an outer periphery thereof. The sealing plug and sealing rib are configured to engage with the opening of inlet body for sealing the opening with the cover in the closed position.

A hermetic compressor includes a compressor shell, a terminal provided on the compressor shell, a terminal guard erected on the compressor shell and surrounding the terminal, and a terminal cover mounted to the terminal guard and covering the terminal. A terminal chamber is defined by the compressor shell, the terminal guard, and the terminal cover. Except for at least a body of the terminal, metal portions facing the terminal chamber are generally covered with an insulator such that the metal portions are not exposed to the terminal chamber. The insulator includes an insulating portion that covers an inner surface of the terminal guard.
