ELECTRIC VEHICLE HAVING A CHARGING FLAP MODULE

An electric vehicle has a charging flap module. The electric vehicle includes a body having a body interior, which has a body element having an outer skin. The body element has an element opening, in which a charging cradle of the charging flap module is arranged. The charging cradle is designed to be fixed to the body and to incorporate a charging flap. The charging flap is designed to be movable in a guided manner between an open position and a closed position for opening and closing a cradle opening of the charging cradle. For guiding the charging flap, the charging cradle includes at least one guide rail, which is arranged in the charging flap module integrated into the housing so that it is protected against penetrating dirt and/or water.

SPLASH-PROOF CHARGING PORT HOUSING FOR AN ELECRICALLY DRIVABLE MOTOR VEHICLE

A charging port housing for selectively connecting a charging cable provided for charging an electrically drivable motor vehicle including a lower shell which can be positioned at a charging opening of a motor vehicle body. The lower shell includes a socket opening for receiving a plug socket for the charging cable, and an upper shell fastened to the lower shell. The upper shell includes a through-opening for passing the charging cable to the plug socket, wherein at least one drain opening bounded by both the lower shell and the upper shell is provided for the gravity-driven drainage of liquid. Configuring the drain opening as a recess between the shells of the charging port housing makes it possible to cost-effectively implement a water drainage of splash water entering via the through-opening, and thus enable a cost-effective protection of electrical components of a motor vehicle against dust and splash water.

A cable connector includes a cable, a cover body, and a sealing member. The cable has multiple core wires and a cover layer. The cover layer covers a part of each core wire. An uncovered part of each core wire defines a naked section. The cover body covers the cover layer and a part of each naked section, and is formed with a hole corresponding to positions of the naked sections. The sealing member is disposed in the hole and seals a gap between any two of the naked sections adjacent to each other. Therefore, liquid such as water may be prevented from infiltrating into the connector along a periphery of each core wire.
