WIRING MEMBER
A wiring member includes: a sheet including a fusion layer; a wire-like transmission member fused to the fusion layer; a connector housing in which a cavity housing an end portion of the wire-like transmission member is formed; and a water stop member stopping water between a wall part of the cavity and the end portion of the wire-like transmission member. The water stop member includes an inner portion located in the cavity and an outer portion continuing into the inner portion to be located on an outer side of the cavity. Provided to the inner portion is a filling portion made up of a resin material thermally deformed to fill the cavity.
Liquid-Proof Edge Connector Designs for Immersion Cooling
Methods and apparatus relating to liquid-proof edge connector solutions for immersion cooling are described. In one embodiment, a seal prevents a cooling liquid to cause electrical contact with a pin of an edge card to be inserted in a connector. And, an adhesive prevents the cooling liquid to cause electrical contact with a terminal of the connector. Other embodiments are also claimed and disclosed.
Connector including packing having annular seal portion and annular depressed portion
A connector includes a housing; and an annular packing to be sandwiched between the housing and a mating component. The packing has: an annular seal portion protruding toward a radially outer side, and an annular depressed portion located on a surface of the seal portion on the radially inner side and depressed toward the radially outer side. An edge of the depressed portion is positioned on one side with respect to a protruding end of the seal portion. When the housing and the mating component are fitted to each other, the protruding end of the seal portion is in contact with the mating component, the edges of the depressed portion are in contact with the housing, and the end portion is displaced in a direction away from the housing to warp with a vicinity of the edge on the one side as a center.
POWER CONNECTOR MODULE
A power connector module is provided, including a housing, an electrical connector unit disposed in a first space of the housing, and a socket unit disposed in a second space of the housing. The glue is received in the first space, and a gate plate is disposed on a diaphragm of the housing to prevent the glue from flowing into the second space.
Connector
It is aimed to improve anti-vibration performance. A connector includes a terminal holding member made of synthetic resin for holding terminal fittings and a case made of metal for accommodating one end part of each terminal fitting by being integrated with the terminal holding member. The case includes a displacement restricting portion having an irregular shape, and the displacement restricting portion is formed on a contact surface of the case with the terminal holding member. When the case made of metal and the terminal holding member made of synthetic resin are thermally deformed, an anchoring effect by the engagement of the displacement restricting portion and the terminal holding member is achieved on the contact surface of the case with the terminal holding member to suppress relative displacements between the case and the terminal holding member.
Electrical connector with improved safety features
An electrical connector includes an insulation body, a main plate, a side plate and a plurality of terminals. The insulation body has at least one aperture penetrating through an upper surface and a lower surface of the insulation body. The main plate is fastened in the insulation body. The side plate is fastened in the insulation body. The side plate is disposed to one side of the main plate. The main plate has a first corresponding side. The side plate has a second corresponding side. The second corresponding side is corresponding to the first corresponding side in the at least one aperture. The first corresponding side and the second corresponding side are exposed to an outside of the insulation body through the at least one aperture. The plurality of the terminals are mounted in the insulation body.
CABLE-TO-CABLE CONNECTOR SYSTEMS
A high-performance, cost- effective cable-to-cable connector assembly is described for use in harsh environment applications, where reliable signal circuits are critical to operating performance. With thermoplastic housings and elastic seals, the connectors allow use over a wide operating temperature range and enhanced sealing performance to withstand conditions of extreme temperature and moisture for demanding interconnect architectures.
SUBSEA DUMMY INSERT
A dummy insert (20) for a plug (12) of a connector assembly (11), the dummy insert (20) comprises a forward end (45) and a rearward end (46), an insert body (22), an array of shuttle pin assemblies (24), a retention plate (26). The insert body (22) has an internal wall (42) and a plurality of guide tubes (36). The plurality of guide tubes (36) extends generally forwardly from the internal wall (42). The retention plate (26) is located rearwardly of the internal wall (42). Each shuttle pin assembly (24) is located at least partly in one guide tube (36) and is retained by the retention plate (26). The insert body (22), the internal wall (42) and the plurality of guide tubes (36) is a monolithic structure. [
Connector conditioning/bore plug
A bore plug for an implantable medical device. The bore plug includes an elongate body having a proximal portion, a distal portion, and defining a major longitudinal axis therethrough, the distal portion being sized and configured to be received within a bore of the implantable medical device. The distal portion includes a lubricating element configured to lubricate the bore when the distal portion is at least one from the group consisting of inserted within and withdrawn from the bore.
SEAL FOR ELECTRICAL AND PRESSURE ISOLATION
A seal for use within a hydrocarbon environment including a core and a shell that is coupled to the core. The core includes an elastomeric core material with a first modulus. The shell includes a shell material with a second modulus that is lesser than the first modulus. The core and the shell can be positioned to generate a pressure and electrical seal at a sealing interface.
