Socket connector for a hearing device
The present disclosure relates to a socket connector for a hearing device. The hearing device comprises a Behind-The-Ear (BTE) unit and a Receiver-In-the-Ear (RIE) unit, the BTE unit comprising a frame, wherein the frame comprises electronic components of the BTE unit, the RIE unit comprising a plug connector configured for providing an electrical connection between the RIE unit and the BTE unit. The socket connector is connectable to the frame of the BTE unit and is configured for detachably connecting the plug connector to the frame.
SEALING MEMBER AND WATERPROOF CONNECTOR
The present disclosure provides a sealing member that includes insertion holes into which connector terminals are inserted, wherein the sealing member exhibits a high water sealability and damage caused when the connector terminal is inserted into the insertion hole is suppressed. The present disclosure also provides a waterproof connector that includes the sealing member. A sealing member 10 includes: a silicone rubber that is formed as a plate-like member; and insertion holes 11 that are formed in a plate surface of the plate-like member and into which connector terminals 20 can be inserted. The silicone rubber has an unnotched Charpy impact strength at −60° C. of 11.5 kJ/mm.sup.2 or more. A waterproof connector 1 includes the sealing member 10 and the connector terminals 20. The connector terminals 20 are inserted into the insertion holes 11 of the sealing member 10.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR SUPPORT RING
Provided are embodiments for an electrical connector system. Embodiments include an electrical connector and a support ring where the support ring includes a baseplate having a first side and a second side, a recessed portion on a first side of a baseplate for a primary O-ring, and a sidewall extending from the second base plate. Embodiments also include a housing coupled to the support ring, wherein the sidewall extends into the housing, wherein the support ring is coupled to the electrical connector on the first side, and the support ring is coupled to the housing on the second side. Also provided are embodiments for the support ring and assembling the electrical connector system.
Electrical Connector and Electrical Connector Assembly
An electrical connector comprises a housing having a water stop groove and a region disposed between an end of the housing and the water stop groove. The water stop groove extends along a circumferential direction of the housing orthogonal to a mating direction of the electrical connector. The water stop groove is dimensioned to allow a surface tension to act on a quantity of water accumulated in the region.

An apparatus according to one embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a first circuit board; a first connector provided on one face of the first circuit board; a second circuit board disposed on the one face of the first circuit board, and electrically connected to the first circuit board; a second connector provided on one face of the second circuit board, and engaged with the first connector to electrically connect the second circuit board to the first circuit board; a sealing member disposed between the first circuit board and the second circuit board to seal a space between the first connector and the second connector; and a coupling member coupling the first circuit board and the second circuit board to each other.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
An electrical connector assembly includes a cable connector equipped with a locking device essentially composed of an operation part pivotally mounted to the case, and a locking part pivotally mounted to the operation part, and a host connector equipped with a locking ear for locking with the locking part wherein the host connector forms a forward protrusion to form an outer region and an inner region each provided with a sealing member adapted to be compressed in the front-to-back direction by locking mechanism.
CONNECTOR
A connector 10 is provided with a housing 11 and a rubber plug 12 to be mounted into the housing. The rubber plug 12 includes a plurality of rubber plug members (e.g. a first rubber plug member 12A, a second rubber plug member 12B and a third rubber plug member 12C) configured separately from each other and arranged side by side in a front-rear direction and a sealing hole 40 penetrating through the plurality of rubber plug members in the front-rear direction. An inner peripheral surface of the sealing hole 40 includes at least one lip (e.g. a first lip 43, a second lip 44) projecting inward. The number of the lips formed in each of the rubber plug members is at most 1.
WET-MATE CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY WITH A DIELECTRIC GREASE RETAINER AND A STIFFENING MATERIAL IN A WELLBORE
Systems and methods are provided for a wet-mate connector assembly that can include a stiffening material and a dielectric grease retainer for preventing the extrusion of dielectric grease during a wet connect. The wet-mate connector assembly can include a male portion and a female portion that can receive the male portion to form an electrical connection with the male portion. The wet-mate connector assembly can also include a dielectric grease retainer that can be positioned near the male portion and the female portion for retaining dielectric grease extruded from a contact chamber when the female portion receives the male portion. The dielectric grease retainer can seal and insulate the contact chamber. The contact chamber can be defined by an outer diameter of the male portion and an inner diameter of the female portion. The male portion and the female portion can include a stiffening material and an insulating material.
High-voltage cable plug
A high-voltage cable plug (1) for installing on an end of a high-voltage cable (20) has an insulating part (14) attached to the end of the high-voltage cable (20). The insulating part is cone-shaped at least in some sections on the outer surface of the insulating part and can electrically tight contact a socket element (2) associated with the high-voltage cable plug (1) when the plug-in connection is established. The high-voltage cable plug (1) has a protective element (40) at or near the end of the high-voltage cable plug facing the socket element (2). The protective element protrudes beyond the end of the high-voltage cable plug (1) facing the socket element (2) in a radial direction, with respect to a longitudinal axis (10) of the high-voltage cable plug (1), to such an extent that the protective element (40) prevents damage to the high-voltage cable plug (1) or to the socket element (2) when the high-voltage cable plug (1) is inserted into and removed from the socket element (2).
Wire termination device for coupling a wire to a feedthrough device and system including the same
A wire termination device for coupling a wire to a feedthrough device is disclosed. The wire termination device can include a housing having a first end and a second end spaced apart from the first end in a longitudinal direction. The housing can define a cavity and an opening to the cavity at the first end for receiving a pin of the feedthrough device. The pin of the feedthrough device can extend in the longitudinal direction. The wire termination device can include a retention member coupled to the housing and located at least partially within the opening of the housing. The retention member can be configured to engage the pin of the feedthrough device to retain the pin of the feedthrough device in the opening of the housing.
