REPLACEABLE HOT SHOE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR INTERPOSER
Electrical interposer devices and systems include a body and a plurality of pins. The plurality of pins are disposed within the body. The plurality of pins extend beyond a first side of the body. Similarly, the plurality of pins extend beyond a second side of the body. The plurality of pins are configured to provide electrical communication between a first electrical component and a second electrical component.
SEALED ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR HAVING A MALE BLADE STABILIZER WITH A SEAL RETENTION FEATURE
A sealed connector assembly includes a female connector having an inner wall, an outer wall substantially parallel to the inner wall, and a resilient seal circumferentially extending from the inner wall and a male connector having a shroud extending parallel to the mating axis and a male blade stabilizer (MBS) moveable from a pre-staged position to a fully staged position and back to the pre-staged position. The MBS is configured to move from the pre-staged position to the fully staged position as the shroud is received between the outer wall and the resilient seal, thereby disposing the MBS between the inner and outer walls and retaining the resilient seal in an intended location. The MBS remains engaged to female connector until the shroud is withdrawn from between the outer wall and the resilient seal, thereby retaining the resilient seal in the intended location as the male connector is unmated.
Sealing Installation Device and Connector Assembly
A sealing installation device for hermetically mounting a housing to a panel includes an elastic sealing washer and a connection member. The elastic sealing washer is disposed between a base of the housing and the panel and seals a mating interface between the base and the panel. The elastic sealing washer has a through slot into which a protrusion formed on a bottom surface of the base is inserted. A thickness of the elastic sealing washer is greater than a height of the protrusion. The connection member connects the base of the housing, the elastic sealing washer, and the panel together. A difference between the thickness of the elastic sealing washer and the height of the protrusion is a predetermined value equal to a compression amount of the elastic sealing washer after the housing is installed on the panel.
Connector backshell assembly
A connector backshell assembly includes a module hood sealable against a connection port having a first connector, a harness hood configured to house a second connector mateable with the first connector, a backshell configured to provide strain relief to a wire harness extending from the second connector and securable on the harness hood after the second connector is housed within the harness hood, and a latch assembly having a latch handle moveable from a first position into a second position to move the harness hood into sealing engagement with the module hood.
CONNECTOR CONNECTION STRUCTURE
To allow an electronic control unit to be replaced with good work efficiency and prevent foreign matter from entering a casing during maintenance work, the connector connection structure includes an internal connector positioned inside a casing, an external connector positioned outside the casing and an electronic control unit electrically connected between the external connector and the electronic control unit wherein the electronic control unit includes a main part that opposes an opening formed in the casing when the internal connector is connected thereto, and a first conductive connection portion and a second conductive connection portion provided on either end of the main part and configured to be connected to the internal connector and the external connector respectively, and a first seal member is provided on an outer periphery of the main part, the first seal member closing the opening when the external connector is not connected to the electronic control unit and the internal connector is connected to the electronic control unit.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CONFIGURED FOR POSITIONING ON, AT, IN, OR NEAR BODIES OF AUTOMATIC SWIMMING POOL CLEANERS
Electrical connectors for automatic swimming pool cleaners (APCs) are described. The connectors may be positioned on, at, in, or near bodies of the APCs and configured to be submerged in water of swimming pools. They additionally may be designed to withstand mechanical pulling stresses when their associated electrical cables are pulled by users to remove APCs from the pools. If such a connector is separable, essentially the entirety of the electrical cable may be separated from the APC for purposes of untangling or storing the cable, as examples. The separation additionally may allow for insertion of one or more extension cables as needed or desired.
SEALED ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
Devices and methods for a sealed electrical connector are described herein. Some embodiments include a spring connecting a first PCB to a second PCB, wherein the spring includes a first end portion in contact with the first PCB, a second end portion in contact with the second PCB, and a middle portion extending between the first end portion and the second end portion, a spacer surrounding the middle portion of the spring, a first seal seated in a first groove of the spacer and in contact with the first PCB, and a second seal seated in a second groove of the spacer and in contact with the second PCB.
Pin and sleeve device with features to facilitate easier assembly
An electrical pin and sleeve device is disclosed. The pin and sleeve device incorporating one or more features to facilitate easier assembly. For example, the pin and sleeve device may include an interrupted thread or a multi-start thread for coupling a first or main housing portion to a second or front housing portion of the device. In this manner, the outer housing can be assembled together with minimal number of turns to facilitate easier and faster assembly. Additionally, and/or alternatively, the front housing portion and the main housing portion may include a key such as, for example, a releasable lock (e.g., a spring plunger assembly) for indexing/indicating the proper rotational position of the front housing relative to the main housing to limit or prevent over-rotation. Additionally, and/or alternatively, a hollow O-ring may be positioned between the first and second housing portions.
Floating header and circuit board assembly
A connector assembly includes an outer conductive body having a first end configured to mate with a corresponding electrical connector, and a conductive center contact arranged within the outer conductive body. The center contact comprises a first end configured to mate with the corresponding electrical connector and a second end electrically connecting with a first electrical contact of a circuit board. An outer contact is slidably attached to a second end of the outer conductive body and electrically connects with a second electrical contact of the circuit board. An elastic element is provided for biasing the outer contact in a direction away from the outer conductive body and toward the circuit board.
