Header for a medical implant device, particularly for a pacemaker
A header for a medical implant device is configured to provide an electrical connection to a circuit within the housing of the medical implant device. The header includes at least one circuit board; a header housing enclosing the circuit board and configured to be connected to the housing of the medical implant device; and a sensor system on the circuit board.
ELECTROMECHANICAL STERILE SEPARATION
A sterility separation element can be arranged between plug connectors of a plug connection/electro-mechanical lock to provide sterility separation of the plug connectors. The plug connection/electro-mechanical lock has at least one electrical contact pin that penetrates the sterility separation element such that the sterility separation element fits directly to the electrical contact pin over its entire circumference in a germ-tight manner. The electrical contact pin has two free pin ends configured to come into electro-mechanical or electroconductive plug contact with corresponding electrical plug sockets of at least two lines to be connected.
Surgical instrument with a sensing array
A surgical instrument is disclosed. The surgical instrument includes a shaft, a sensing array and a fluid detection circuit. The sensing array is positioned within the shaft. The fluid detection circuit is electrically coupled to the sensing array, and is configured to determine when a fluid originating from an environment external to the shaft is present within the shaft.
Connector cavity assembly for a medical device and manufacturing method
A connector cavity assembly for a medical device, comprising at least one connector cavity comprising a plurality of electrically conductive electrode contacts spaced apart from each other and a plurality of electrically insulating insulation elements, wherein the electrode contacts and the insulation elements are arranged alternatingly; and a connector cavity housing. The connector cavity assembly is characterized in that the at least one connector cavity is removably arranged within the connector cavity housing, wherein the connector cavity housing exerts a pretension on the at least one connector cavity leading to a liquid-tight sealing between the insulation elements and the electrode contacts.
Regional oximetry pod
A regional oximetry pod drives optical emitters on regional oximetry sensors and receives the corresponding detector signals in response. The sensor pod has a dual sensor connector configured to physically attach and electrically connect one or two regional oximetry sensors. The pod housing has a first housing end and a second housing end. The dual sensor connector is disposed proximate the first housing end. The housing at least partially encloses the dual sensor connector. A monitor connector is disposed proximate a second housing end. An analog board is disposed within the pod housing and is in communications with the dual sensor connector. A digital board is disposed within the pod housing in communications with the monitor connector.
Surgical instrument comprising a control circuit
A surgical instrument is disclosed comprising a housing and a control circuit mounted to and/or embedded in the housing.
Implantable medical device with locking datum arrangement between DF4/IS4 assembly and header
Disclosed herein is an implantable electronic device. The device includes a housing and a header connector assembly coupled to the housing. The header connector assembly includes a DF4/IS4 assembly and a header including a bore. The DF4/IS4 assembly is locked within the bore via a locking datum arrangement that exists between the DF4/IS4 assembly and the header.
Method and system for modular connections with electrical components
An electronic module for a modular patient care system is disclosed. The electronic module can include a housing having an attachment side configured to releasably attach to an adjacent electronic module. A latch mechanism can be configured to engage a catch member on the adjacent electronic module to secure the attachment side to the adjacent electronic module. An electrical connector positioned on the attachment side can be configured to electrically connect to an adjacent electrical connector on the adjacent electronic module. A sensor coupled to the housing can be configured to detect movement of the latch mechanism indicative of at least one of engagement or disengagement of the latch mechanism from the adjacent electronic module.
REGIONAL OXIMETRY USER INTERFACE
A regional oximetry system has a display and at least one processor causing a plurality of views to be displayed on the display, each configured to occupy at least a portion of the display. The views are adapted to present data responsive to at least one physiological signal. A first sensor port is configured to receive at least a first physiological signal representative of a regional tissue oxygenation level, and a second sensor port is configured to receive at least a second physiological signal representative of an arterial oxygen saturation level. One view presents a first trend graph of the first physiological signal and a second trend graph of the second physiological signal. An area between the first trend graph and the second trend graph can include a differential analysis of regional-to-central oxygen saturation.
COMPOSITE HEADER SEALS
Various aspects of the present disclosure are directed toward apparatuses, systems, and methods that include a connector port subassembly for a medical device. The connector port subassembly may include a connector bore arranged within the core subassembly including a proximal end and a distal end; one or more connector blocks arranged within the connector bore; and one or more seal rings moulded to an interior surface of the connector bore and arranged adjacent to the one or more connector blocks.
