CABLE CONNECTION ASSEMBLIES FOR MARINE PROPULSION, AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Cable connection assemblies for marine propulsion, and associated systems and methods are disclosed. A representative connection assembly includes a multi-conductor cable having two high voltage power conductor lines, two low voltage power conductor lines, two interlock lines, and two signal lines. The assembly further includes a connector having a connector body carrying connection elements corresponding to each of the conductor lines, interlock lines, and signal lines. In further representative embodiments, one or more of the connection elements can be housed in corresponding insulating bodies. In still further representative embodiments, the assembly can be configured so that the high voltage lines are the first to mate, and the last to un-mate, which, together with the interlock loop, can reduce or eliminate the likelihood for high voltage arcing.
Sealing element, seal assembly and receptacle
The present disclosure discloses a sealing element, a seal assembly and a receptacle. The sealing element comprises a pair of seal sidewalls that are arranged to be spaced from each other and a connecting top wall. Each of the seal sidewalls includes a pair of seal surfaces. The pair of seal sidewalls have the seal surfaces that are oppositely arranged. The connecting top wall is disposed between the pair of seal sidewalls and connects them integrally. The pair of seal sidewalls and the connecting top wall form a retaining groove. The sealing element of the present disclosure may provide a waterproof seal for multiple parts and can be readily assembled and save costs.
Control system, operator console and mobile data carrier for a machine tool
A system for control of a numerically controlled machine tool by a user, including an operator console being operable by the user and a mobile data carrier, and to an operator console and a mobile data carrier for use in such system. The operator console has a receiving slot for receiving the mobile data carrier and a first communication interface adapted to be communicably connected to a second communication interface of the mobile data carrier, wherein the second communication interface includes a female connector socket and the first communication interface includes a male connector plug provided at an inner end face portion of the receiving slot for being plugged into the female connector socket of the mobile data carrier when the mobile data carrier is received in the receiving slot.
COVER STRUCTURE AND ELECTRIC CONNECTION BOX
A cover structure that includes a base that is attached to a circuit substrate of an electric connection box on which an electrical component is mounted, the base being used as a receptacle for a cable that is to be electrically connected to the electrical component; and a housing that houses the circuit substrate.
Secondary lock and receptacle
The present disclosure discloses a secondary lock and a receptacle. The secondary lock may be mounted to a receptacle housing. The secondary lock has a lock body, a locking portion and a terminal retaining portion. The lock body has a longitudinal insertion direction. The locking portion is protrudingly arranged on the lock body to be configured for being longitudinally block-fittable with the receptacle housing. The terminal retaining portion is arranged on the lock body to be configured for being block-fittable with a connecting terminal along an axial direction of the connecting terminal. The secondary lock according to the present disclosure may be pre-assembled on the receptacle housing to be integrally retained and conveniently transported.
WATERPROOF ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR WITH IMPROVED SEALING CUSHION
A waterproof electrical connector includes a connector body and a waterproof cap. The connector body includes a mating island surrounded by a ring groove. The mating island defines a mating face and plural passageways. The passageways receive conductive terminals and penetrate through the mating face. A soft cushion is set inside the waterproof cap. The connector body includes a collar portion. The collar portion is higher than the mating face and forms an entrance cavity around the ring groove. When the cap covers the connector body, the soft cushion penetrates into the entrance cavity to press and seal the mating face.
Connector unit comprising two connector parts
A connector unit having a first connector part and at least a second connector part, wherein the first connector part and the at least second connector part are connectable during a mating of the first connector part and the at least second connector part and are dis-connectable during a de-mating of the first connector part and the at least second connector part, and further having at least a first locking assembly for locking the first connector part and the at least second connector part at least during the de-mate of the first connector part and the at least second connector part. At least first locking assembly has at least a first hydraulic lock.
Electrical connector assembly having a waterproofing provision without a seal ring
An electrical connector assembly comprises a first connector and a second connector. The first connector has a hood defining a mating opening. The second connector has a housing body configured to be received in the hood, a rear end wall formed continuous with the housing body and projecting outward from the housing body in a circumferential direction, a lock arm configured to prevent disengagement of the first connector and the second connector, and a cover disposed at the rear end wall covering a portion of the lock arm. A front end surface of the rear end wall facing the second connector forms a uniformly continuous flat surface in a region including the cover.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
An electrical connector assembly comprises a first connector including a first housing having a mating opening, a second connector including a second housing configured to be mated with the mating opening of the first connector, and a drainage structure provided on and corresponding to a boundary portion between the first housing and the second housing. The boundary portion faces the mating opening. The drainage structure includes a convex region having a top at the boundary portion, a first concave region continuous with the convex region and formed in the first housing, and a second concave region continuous with the convex region and formed in the second housing.
WATERPROOF CONNECTOR
A male connector (1) includes terminal-equipped wires (10), a male housing (20) having a male terminal holding portion (21) and a rubber plug accommodating portion (32). A one-piece rubber plug (50) and a holder (60) are accommodated in the rubber plug accommodating portion (31).
