The connector includes: a housing main body 23 which includes terminal housing chambers 59 and an upper surface of which is closed off; terminal metal fittings 11 that are housed inside the terminal housing chambers 59; a cover 15 that is locked to the housing main body 23 and arranged below the terminal housing chambers 59; and eaves portions 62 that protrude laterally from an upper end of the housing main body 23.

Electrical Connector Assembly

An electrical connector assembly comprises a first connector and a second connector. The first connector has a hood defining a mating opening. The second connector has a housing body configured to be received in the hood, a rear end wall formed continuous with the housing body and projecting outward from the housing body in a circumferential direction, a lock arm configured to prevent disengagement of the first connector and the second connector, and a cover disposed at the rear end wall covering a portion of the lock arm. A front end surface of the rear end wall facing the second connector forms a uniformly continuous flat surface in a region including the cover.

Electrical Connector

An electrical connector that prevents water from entering the hood of the electrical connector. The electrical connector includes a housing adapted to be mated in a receiving space in a hood of a mating connector. On a top side of the electrical connector in a state where the electrical connector is mated to the mating connector, the housing includes an inclined surface having an inclination angle of more than 90° at a front end of the hood of the mating connector for draining water falling onto the electrical connector.

Electrical Connector

An electrical connector comprises a housing and a contact held by the housing. The housing has a hood including a receiving space for receiving a mating connector and a pair of first inner surfaces extending along a vertical direction. The first inner surfaces face the receiving space and are disposed at a first interval in a horizontal direction. Each of the first inner surfaces includes a first inclined surface extending a predetermined distance from a front end of the hood in a mating direction toward an opposite rear end of the hood.

Flushing arrangement

A flushing arrangement for flushing a surface of a wet-mateable connector for subsea use is provided. The flushing arrangement has a cartridge adapted to form a chamber around the surface to be flushed prior to flushing. The cartridge has a sealing portion adapted to be sealed against a part of the connector. An inlet port for receiving a fluid from a fluid source and an outlet port for discharging a fluid are provided. Plural flow channels are formed in the cartridge, the plural flow channels comprising flow channels providing a fluid connection between the inlet port and the chamber for enabling a flow of fluid into the chamber and flow channels providing a fluid connection between the chamber and the outlet port for enabling a flow of medium out of the chamber.

Electrical connector with bulging portion at a bend to discharge water

A connector includes: a terminal fitting; a housing containing the terminal fitting inside and provided with a fitting portion inserted and fitted into inside of a hole-shaped counterpart fitting portion of a counterpart wall member; and a shield shell including a cylindrical portion covering, from outside, a projecting portion of the housing projecting from the counterpart fitting portion, a flange portion projecting outer than an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical portion and a fixed portion bent from an end portion of the flange portion and fixed on an end surface of the counterpart wall member. The shield shell is provided with a bent portion between the flange portion and the fixed portion, and a bulging portion including an inner wall surface positioned inside a curve of the bent portion at an end portion in an extending direction of a bending line of the bent portion.

WATERPROOF ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR HAVING A SEALER BETWEEN CONATCT MODULE AND OUTER SHELL

An electrical connector includes: a contact module having an insulative housing, two rows of terminals affixed to the insulative housing, and a metal shielding plate, the insulative housing comprising an annular receiving groove, a base portion located behind the annular receiving groove, and a tongue portion extending forwardly from the annular receiving groove, each terminal having a contacting portion exposed to a surface of the tongue portion, a soldering portion, and a connecting portion; an inner metal shell attached to the contact module; and an outer shell enclosing the inner metal shell; the connecting portion has an exposed portion located at a rear end of the connecting portion and suspended in the annular receiving groove, the annular receiving groove receives glue to form a sealer sealing between the contact module and the outer shell, and the exposed portion is embedded in the glue.

Anti-electric shock structure and socket

The present disclosure provides an anti-electric shock structure and a socket. In a non-conductive state, the two conductive pieces are respectively arranged in front of the elastic piece parts of the two conductive contact pieces at intervals. A first socket is formed in the jack part. When a plug is plugged into the first socket, one plug blade of the plug extrudes the sliding mechanism to push the two elastic piece parts, so that the two elastic piece parts can touch the conductive pieces. When a non-plug conductive object is inserted into the first socket, the conductive contact pieces cannot conduct electricity because the conductive object cannot push the sliding mechanism to the position where the elastic piece parts are in contact with the conductive pieces, so that the anti-electric shock structure has a good anti-electric shock function.

DEVICE CONNECTOR

A device connector (10) is mounted into a mounting hole (C1) on a case (C) of a device in a vehicle, and includes terminals (50) connected to wires (W). A synthetic resin housing (30) includes a wire introducing portion (32) and a fitting portion (31). The wire introducing portion (32) receives the wires (W) and the terminals (50) while the fitting portion (31) fits into the mounting hole (C1). A metal shield shell (60) accommodates the wire introducing portion (32) and includes a lower shell (62) for covering the entire outer circumferential surface of the wire introducing portion (32). A seal ring (72) fits on an outer surface of the wire introducing portion (32) and seals between the lower shell (62) and the wire introducing portion (32). Water drainage holes (77) vertically penetrate a stepped portion (69) of the lower shell (62) above the seal ring (72).
