POWER SUPPLY AND SIGNAL TRANSMISSION DEVICE FOR VEHICLE SEAT RAIL

A power supply and signal transmission device for a vehicle seat rail is provided. The device includes a contact-type power supply unit configured to supply power to an electrical device mounted on a seat, and a contact-type signal transmission unit configured to transfer seat drive control signals. The contact-type power supply unit and the contact-type signal transmission unit are directly mounted on the seat rail.

A wetmate connector includes a plug and receptacle. The plug includes a plug body and the receptacle includes a receptacle body. The plug includes a recess circumscribing its forward end, adjacent to a coarse alignment feature and rearward of a front surface of the plug body. The coarse alignment feature includes a series of three truncated cones, the first and third of the cones including substantially congruent faces, the first and second cones being joined at their maximum diameter and the second and third cones being joined at their minimum diameter. The receptacle body includes a fastener adapted to cooperate with the recess in the forward end of the plug, to latch the plug and receptacle together when mated.

SUBSEA CONNECTOR

An ROV, diver, or stab, wet mateable connector plug front end housing includes a housing front section; a locator mount section; and a seal section axially in series with one another. The housing front section includes a plug coarse alignment feature on an outer surface of the housing front section, adjacent to a front surface of the housing front section and radially outward of a central axis of the housing. There is a circumferential groove on the outer surface of the housing front section, axially displaced from and rearward of the coarse alignment feature, the groove being adapted to receive a latch of a wet-mateable connector receptacle front end housing. The plug coarse alignment feature includes a bullnose feature. A plug fine alignment feature is formed in the outer surface of the housing front section, aligned with and located radially outward of the central axis of the housing.

CABLE CONNECTION

A dry mate cable connection includes a data cable. The data cable includes a plurality of electrical conductors and at least one electrically insulating outer layer surrounding each data conductor, whereby the data conductors are electrically insulated from one another. The cable includes a termination end. The outer layer of each conductor is physically in contact with an outer layer of an adjacent conductor, except at the termination end. The plurality of electrical conductors at the termination end are physically separated from one another by a single electrically insulating overmoulded cable termination housing. The housing is in contact with at least part of the electrically insulating layers of each of the electrical conductors.

SUBSEA CONNECTOR

A subsea wet mateable connector includes a plug and a receptacle. The plug includes a plug body and a shuttle pin moveably mounted in a socket contact. The receptacle includes a receptacle body and a receptacle pin. The connector further including a secondary diaphragm mounted to the plug body and a primary diaphragm mounted to the plug body outside the secondary diaphragm. The primary diaphragm and secondary diaphragm are spaced from one another in a demated state, allowing fluid flow in the space formed therebetween. The primary diaphragm and secondary diaphragm are sealingly engaged in a mated state, forming a continuous protective layer over the receptacle pin in a mated state.

SUBSEA CONNECTOR

A plug part for a subsea connector, the connector includes a plug and a receptacle. The plug part includes one or more female conducting contact assemblies each female conducting contact assembly including a female contact including inner and outer conducting surfaces, the inner conducting surface defining a cavity of the one or more female conducting contact assemblies and each female contact unit further including a shuttle pin adapted to receive a male contact pin of a receptacle. The female contact assembly further includes a solid insulator mounted radially outward of the external surface and forming an annulus between the outer surface of the female contact and an inner surface of the solid insulator and an orifice between the cavity and the annulus.

SUBSEA CONNECTOR

A subsea wet mateable connector plug part includes a plug body, a plurality of data conductor contacts arranged in the plug body and a plurality of power conductor contacts arranged in the plug body. The data conductor contacts include an even number of pairs of data conductor contacts, each pair being aligned orthogonally with respect to an adjacent pair of data conductor contacts. The pairs of data conductor contacts are so arranged as to form a data cluster. The data cluster includes an outer earth screen adapted to maintain an electrical contact with an earth screen of a cable. The power conductor contacts are spaced from one another in the plug body, outside of and remote from the outer earth screen of the data cluster.

CONNECTOR AND CONNECTOR DEVICE

A connector and a connector device that are small and have a drainage function are provided. A connector includes: a contact; a first insulator; a first shield member; a second shield member having a tubular portion; and a second insulator. A first communicating portion that is in communication with the outside is formed in a lower wall of the tubular portion of the second shield member, the lower wall facing the second insulator. A second communicating portion that is in communication with the outside and the first communicating portion is formed in the second insulator. The first shield member has a facing wall that faces the first communicating portion, and a bent wall that is bent toward the second insulator from an end portion of the facing wall on an opposite side to the opening side.

An electrical power outlet is suitable for mounting face-up in locations that may be susceptible to liquid spills. The outlet includes a housing body defining an interior chamber, with an intermediate wall positioned therein. The intermediate wall defines contact openings that are open to contact passageways in which electrical contacts are mounted. A pair of drainage passageways extend through the housing body. A pair of drainage channels extend along the intermediate wall to the respective drainage passageways, so that liquid along the intermediate wall is directed along the drainage channels to the drainage passageways. Drain openings formed in a bottom wall of the housing body are in fluid communication with the respective drainage channels for draining liquid out of the housing body.
