The mesh has a diameter that is a transverse diameter of a channel defined by the mesh and configured to receive an electrical cable therethrough, wherein the diameter of the mesh decreases when one of the first and second ends of the mesh is pulled away from the other of the first and second ends of the mesh.

A cable assembly comprising a termination with at least one conductive, compressible member and a conductive ground shield. The conductive, compressible member may be held within a connector module forming the termination such that the conductive compressive member is pressed against, and therefore makes electrical contact with, both an outer conductive layer of the cable and ground structures within the connector module. In some embodiments, these connections may be formed using a conductive, compressible member with an opening configured to receive the end of the cable therethrough. The conductive ground shield may be configured to compress the conductive, compressible member, and to cause the conductive, compressible member to electrically contact the cable's conductive layer. The conductive, compressible member may be formed from a compressible material and may comprise a plurality of conductive particulates configured to provide electrically conductive paths.

Connector assembly

A connector assembly includes a connector, a circuit board having a first soldering pin and a second soldering pin electrically connected with the first soldering pin, a cable having a wire with a conductor, and an outer shield housing mounted on the circuit board and covering the connector, the cable, and the circuit board. The connector includes a shield housing, an insulation body disposed in the shield housing, and a conductive terminal held in the insulation body. The conductive terminal is soldered to the first soldering pin. The conductor is soldered to the second soldering pin.

An electrical connector includes a connector body and an outer metal shell. The connector body includes an insulating body, a conductive terminal fixed to the insulating body, and an inner metal shell at least partly covering the insulating body. The outer metal shell at least partially covers the inner metal shell. The outer metal shell includes a first metal shell and a second metal shell assembled together. The first metal shell includes a first buckle portion. The second metal shell includes a second buckle portion buckled with the first buckle portion. As a result, assembly efficiency of the electrical connector is improved.
