Device housing for an electrical device
Various embodiments include device housing for an electrical device comprising: an inner housing with a first lower shell and a first upper shell; and an outer housing with a second lower shell and a second upper shell. There is a cable insertion opening defined by a cable seating profile in the first lower shell and a flush cable cover profile in the first upper shell for a cable routed to the device; a clamping body retained by the inner housing; and a friction and/or form-fitting contact between the clamping body and the cable can be effected by means of the outer housing when the clamping body is pressed onto an outer surface of the cable by the upper shell of the outer housing.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ENABLING WASTE DISPOSER TO BE COUPLED TO ALTERNATIVE ELECTRIC POWER SOURCES
Food waste disposer systems and related systems for coupling food waste disposer systems to electrical power sources, and related coupling and configuration methods, are disclosed herein. In at least one example embodiment, a food waste disposer system includes a motor, a switch module, a housing, and an appliance inlet power cord connection structure supported at least indirectly upon the housing, where the connection structure is either connected to or integrally formed with the switch module. Further, the food waste disposer system also includes a power cord including a first end with a first plug and a second end with a second plug, where the first plug is configured to be coupled to the connection structure. Additionally, the food waste disposer includes an adapter or first lead wires that are coupled at least indirectly to the connection structure.
MULTIDIRECTIONAL LINECORD
An electrical cord includes a housing with a cavity and a connector rotatably connected to the housing. The electrical cord also includes a strain reliever connected to the housing and a cable connected to the connector. The cable extends through the cavity and connects to the strain reliever.
Wire holding member
A wire holding member is a wire holding member for holding a wire in which an outer circumference of a core wire is covered by an insulating covering, the wire holding member including: a front wall that includes an insertion hole having an inner diameter larger than an outer diameter of the core wire so as to allow the core wire to be passed therethrough; an upper extending piece and a lower extending piece that extend rearward from a plurality of different end edges of the front wall, and that are to be disposed around the insulating covering; and an upper holding portion and a lower holding portion that protrude from rear end portions of the upper extending piece and the lower extending piece toward the insulating covering, and that clamp an outer surface of the insulating covering, wherein at least the upper and lower extending pieces and the upper and lower holding portions are made of a metal.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
An electrical connector comprises a plug connector and a socket connector connectable to respective electrical conduits, wherein the plug connector and at least partly prevent or minimize rotational and/or longitudinal movement of the electrical conduits relative to the connectors. The socket connector may comprise a rotatable retainer comprising one or more flange members and the plug connector may comprise one or more complementary flange members, so that rotation of the retainer facilitates engagement between the respective flange members of the socket connector and the plug connector. Power sources are also provided which comprise the hereinbefore described rotatable retainer and flange elements.
Electric Wire Connector
An electric wire connector connecting at least two wires includes a connector housing having a housing base and a housing cover, the housing base divided into at least two compartments, and at least two contact terminals each arranged in a different one of the at least two compartments. The at least two contact terminals are connected to one another by an electrically conductive member. The housing cover has a wire receiving opening receiving one of the at least two wires in an insertion direction. The housing cover is linearly movable relative to the housing base from an open position receiving the one of the at least two wires to a closed position terminating the one of the at least two wires.
Cable connector assembly having cable of a flat structure
A cable connector assembly for being mated with a mating connector along a mating direction, includes: a mating member, a cable electrically connected with the mating member, and a shielding shell having an end mounted on the mating member, and an opposite end mounted on the cable, the shielding shell including a first shell and a second shell mated with the first shell along a transverse direction perpendicular to the mating direction, wherein each of the first shell and the second shell has an asymmetrical structure.
Leakage current protection device for power plug
A leakage current protection plug includes a body formed by a top cover and a base, a moving assembly disposed in the body, and output wires. The moving assembly includes a control circuit board, and a detector assembly and a trip assembly disposed on the control circuit board, wherein power input insertion plates and power output moving contact arms are assembled with the moving assembly. Each output moving contact arm is formed integrally and fixed to the detector assembly, and the output ends of the output moving contact arms are directly connected to the output conductor wires. The device has a simple overall structure and can be reliably assembled. By using integrally formed output moving contact arms to directly couple the input and output, it improves the accuracy of the leakage current detection parameters, reduces internal transfers and solder points, and reduces the size and cost of the plug.
Connector with responsive inner diameter
A coaxial cable connector includes an outer barrel having a front end and a rear end. The connector includes an inner sleeve within the outer barrel defining a bore, the inner sleeve moving between uncompressed and compressed conditions and including a finger which is formed in the inner sleeve for resilient movement between a neutral position in which the finger is out of the bore, and a deformed position in which the finger is deformed into the bore. The finger includes a base formed to the inner sleeve and a free end. Axial movement of the inner sleeve with respect to the outer barrel from a compressed condition to an uncompressed condition imparts movement to the finger from the neutral position to the deformed position.
