This service plug (1) has a connection terminal part (49), and the connection terminal part (49) has a pair of terminals (8) and an interlinking part (9) that is tailored to the spacing between the terminals (8) and joins the terminals (8) together. By removing the connection terminal part (49) from a power-supply circuit, the power-supply circuit is interrupted. The interlinking part (9) includes one or more thin interlinking plates (20) that are removably attached to the connection terminal part (49).

Side-exit motor cable connections

Systems and methods for connecting power cables to downhole equipment such as ESPs using side-exit (radial) connections. In one embodiment, a system includes an electric drive coupled by a power cable to an ESP. The electric drive is positioned at the surface of a well with the power cable coupled to it. The power cable extends into the well bore and is coupled to the downhole equipment which is positioned in the well bore. The power cable has a connector with a first set of radially oriented terminals (the terminals are perpendicular to the conductors of the power cable). These terminals engage a second set of terminals that are installed in the downhole equipment. The radial orientation of the terminals of the connector and downhole equipment allow the power cable to remain axially oriented, thereby facilitating engagement of the terminals and requiring less annular space in the well bore.

A plug-in connector comprises a first connecting part with at least one first contact element and a second connecting part with at least one second contact element. The first connecting part is configured for being connected with and disconnected from the second connecting part. The first connecting part comprises a latching element with a snap-in member, and the second connecting part comprises a retaining sleeve configured for accepting the latching element. The latching pin and the retaining sleeve constitute a mechanical mechanism provided in addition to the at least one first contact element and the at least one second contact element. A mechanical interaction between the latching pin and the retaining sleeve enforces a predetermined motion pattern of the at least one first contact element relative to the at least one second contact element during a process of connecting or disconnecting the first connecting part and the second connecting part.

ELECTRICAL PLUG CONNECTOR PAIR

An electrical plug connector pair includes a first plug connector part and a second plug connector part which can be interconnected by a plug connection such that an electrical contact provided in the first plug connector part can be galvanically contacted to an electrical contact provided in the second connector part. The first plug connector part includes a locking element having a locking hook that, in a locking state, can be brought into engagement with a hook receiving portion provided in the second plug connector part such that the locking hook that is brought into engagement with the hook receiving portion in the locking state prevents separation of the two plug connector parts, the locking element being mounted in the first plug connector part so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis such that the locking hook can be released.

Connection structure of electronic components and circuit board

An electrical connection of an electronic component, such as an inductor, and a circuit board is implemented as follows. The circuit board has a through-hole and is located at a distance from an inner bottom surface of the case. An electronic component is around the through-hole and between the inner bottom surface and the circuit board. The electronic component has a conducting wire and a conducting plate. The conductive connector is between the through-hole and the conducting plate and electrically connected to the conducting plate. The electronic component is electrically connected to the circuit board through the conductive connector. The insulated connector corresponds to the conductive connector and is between the conducting plate and the inner bottom surface. The fastener is connected to the conductive connector through the through-hole. Thus, a good electrical connection between the electronic component and the circuit board is achieved.

A connector system is described herein. The connector system includes a first connector having a first fastener and a second connector having a second fastener cooperating with the first fastener to fasten the first connector to the second connector. The first connector includes a blocking component that is moveable between a blocking position, in which the blocking component is locked and prevents cooperation of the first fastener with the second fastener, and an non-blocking position in which the blocking component allows the first fastener to cooperate with the second fastener. The second connector includes a marker interacting with the blocking component in order to unlock the blocking component when the first and second connectors are in a position for connection, thereby allowing movement of the blocking component from the blocking position to the non-blocking position. A method of assembling such a connector system is also presented.
