The housing includes an insulating body with multiple apertures disposed therein, an elastic latch arm, and a flange. The flange is arranged along an outer side of a first opening, and two limiting arms are respectively formed at two end portions of the flange that are adjacent to the elastic latch arm. A midline is defined by each of first partition walls along a third direction, the two adjacent midlines are spaced apart from each other by an interval, and each of the intervals is at least twice a width of each of the first partition walls. The conductive terminals are disposed in the apertures, respectively.
Joint connection assembly
A connection assembly includes a first housing part, a second housing part pluggable with the first housing part, and a joint connector held between the first housing part and the second housing part. The first housing part has a plurality of contact element receptacles and a plurality of latching elements. The latching elements latch a plurality of contact elements in the contact element receptacles. The second housing part has a locking section locking one of the latching elements in a latching position. The joint connector connects at least two of the contact elements.
SHIELD TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR
A shield terminal includes a first outer conductor and a second outer conductor. The first outer conductor includes a barrel portion that is electrically connected to a shield portion of an electric wire, and an engaging portion capable of engaging with a housing, and the second outer conductor includes a main body portion and an extension portion extending rearward from the main body portion. A rear end portion of the extension portion is sandwiched between the barrel portion and the electric wire. A fastener portion is formed on a front side of the second outer conductor relative to the rear end of the extension portion, and a fastening portion capable of coming into contact with the fastener portion in a direction of rotation about the engaging portion is formed forward of the engaging portion of the first outer conductor.
CARD EDGE CONNECTOR
A card edge connector includes a housing configured to be mounted to a host circuit board and having a card slot at the front configured to receive a card edge of a module circuit card of the pluggable module. A contact assembly is received in a cavity of the housing having cable contacts arranged in an upper contact set and lower contact set. An upper ground bus bar is electrically connected to terminating ends of the ground contacts of the upper contact set and a lower ground bus bar is electrically connected to the ground contacts of the lower contact set. A ground element is coupled to the upper ground bus bar or the lower ground bus bar and includes a board termination component configured to be terminated to the host circuit board to electrically connect the corresponding ground bus bar to the host circuit board.
Electrical connector having an outer shell and an inner shield to define an engaging groove
An electrical connector includes an insulative housing having a mating slot; a contact module received in the insulative housing, a metallic outer shell enclosing the insulative housing and having a latching portion spaced apart from a side wall of the insulative housing, and a metallic inner shield secured between the insulative housing and the metallic outer shell, wherein the metallic inner shield has a planar portion adjacent to the side wall of the insulative housing and a pair of bulging portions at two opposite ends of the planar portion, and the latching portion of the metallic outer shell and the planar portion and the bulging portions of the metallic inner shield together define an engaging groove.
