20230084815 · 2023-03-16 ·

An adaptor is provided for connecting an electrical cable with an electrical connector. The adaptor includes a housing and an insert which are coaxially arranged and connected for free rotation relative to each other. The outer surface of the insert contains an annular recess and at least one pin is arranged on an inner surface of the housing. When a portion of the insert including the recess is arranged within a portion of the housing, the pin is inserted into the recess to connect the insert with the housing while permitting rotation therebetween. The free rotation prevent torque from being transmitted to an electrical cable connected with the insert.

System for transmitting electrical signals

A flexible and/or stretchable structural system for transmitting electrical signal between first and second rigid portions comprises a body structure and said first and second portions arranged to said body structure. The modulus of elasticity of said first portion is lower than the corresponding modulus of elasticity of said second portion. In addition the modulus of elasticity of said body structure is lower than the corresponding modulus of elasticity of said second portion. The system comprises also an interface portion, such as e.g. an electrically conducting fabric, textile or knit, which is arranged to said body structure and between said first and second portions. The interface portion electrically connects said first and second portions. The modulus of elasticity of said interface portion is lower than the corresponding modulus of elasticity of said second portion.

Splicing lamp and lamp adapter

An electrical connector assembly includes a first electrical contact device and a second electrical contact device. The first electrical contact device includes at least one first electrical contact and an actuator movable between a first position and a second position. The second electrical contact device includes at least one second electrical contact device and an interlock feature to engage the actuator when the actuator is in the first position. The actuator is in the first position when the first electrical contact is in electrical communication with a power source, and the actuator is in the second position when the electrical communication between the first electrical contact and the power source is disconnected. When the actuator is in the first position and the second electrical contact engage the first electrical contact, the interlock feature engages the actuator, thereby securing the first electrical contact device and the second electrical contact device against disconnection.

Actuator Module For Charge Inlets

An actuator module for locking an electrical connection comprises a lock, a drive unit, and a position detection unit. The lock is movable between an unlocked position and a locked position along a direction of movement. The lock has a trigger. The drive unit moves the lock from the unlocked position to the locked position. The position detection unit has an optical sensor detecting the trigger and determining a position of the lock.

LOCKING MECHANISM FOR A HIGH-CURRENT ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR

An electrical connector socket is provided, which has a locking device with which an electrical connector can be locked to the electrical connector socket when plugged in, wherein the locking device is arranged at least partly inside the electrical connector socket and protrudes at least partly from the electrical connector socket on the plug-in side. The electrical connector is provided for transmitting high currents and signals, wherein the electrical connector as a locking contour, into which a locking device of an electrical connector socket can engage, wherein the locking contour is arranged on the electrical connector on the plug-in side.

Electrical connector latching mechanism

A method for latching an electrical connector includes aligning a connector with an inlet. A first surface of the connector is within a first distance of a second surface of the inlet. A puller arm of the connector is extended into the inlet to a second distance from the second surface of the inlet. The puller arm includes a gripping element configured to apply a first compressive force against the inlet. The puller arm is retracted relative to the connector while applying the first compressive force against the inlet. The puller arm remains in the inlet at the second distance, thereby inserting a first electrode of the connector into the inlet to connect the first electrode with a second electrode of the inlet. The first electrode transfers power to the second electrode from a high-power supply.
