11336066 · 2022-05-17 · ·

A serially-connectable device includes a plug, an electrical cable, and a joining sleeve. The plug includes an insert portion and apertures are arranged in parallel to each other and formed through the insert portion. The electrical cable includes metal wires, such as wires of a light string. Ends of the wires respectively run through the apertures, and are folded back onto a surface of the insert portion to form exposed wire portions servicing as terminal pins. The joining sleeve includes two insert holes. Electrical conductors are disposed within the joining sleeve. Each electrical conductor extends from one of the two insert holes to the other insert hole. The insert portion is inserted into one of the two insert holes, to have the pins respectively contact the electrical conductors. Through the combination of the joining sleeve and the plug, two electrical cables can be quickly connected in a serial manner.

Electrical connector assembly

An electrical connector assembly includes: a first module including a mounting plate and a plurality of first electrical connectors; a second module including a housing and a plurality of second electrical connectors; wherein the electrical connector assembly has a locking device including at least one first interlocking member disposed on the first module and at least one second interlocking member disposed on the second module, wherein one of the first interlocking member and the second interlocking member is provided with a protrusion, and the other of the first interlocking member and the second interlocking member is provided with a hole for receiving the protrusion, wherein one of the projection and the hole is elastically actuatable so as to lock or unlock the first module and the second module.

Connection Terminal and a Connection Assembly

A connection terminal for use with a plug-in terminal includes a terminal body and a tongue. The tongue extends from a first end of the terminal body along an axial direction of the connection terminal and defines a locking element. A first curled portion and a second curled portion are disposed oppositely on two sides of the terminal body. The first curled portion and the second curled portion define at least one first reinforcing rib and at least one second reinforcing rib, and include a first abutting portion and a second abutting portion. A plug-in space is formed between the first and second curled portions and the terminal body for receiving the plug-in terminal. With the plug-in terminal inserted into the plug-in space, the first abutting portion and the second abutting portion abut against the plug-in terminal, and the locking element locks the plug-in terminal within the plug-in space.

Locking Connector System

A locking connector system for releasably locking a first connector in mechanical engagement with a second connector. The locking connector system generally includes a first connector including a female coupler and a second connector including a male coupler, with the first and second connectors being adapted to mechanically connect to each other. The first connector includes an adjustable latch which selectively engages with a catch portion on the male coupler to lock the connectors together. The latch may be pressed downwardly, such as by use of a connected button, to release the latch from the catch portion and disconnect the connectors. The first connector is adapted to provide audible, visual, and tactile feedback to confirm when the latch engages with the catch portion.

ELECTRICAL CONTACT DEVICE WITH INTERLOCK

An electrical connector assembly includes a first electrical contact device and a second electrical contact device. The first electrical contact device includes at least one first electrical contact and an actuator movable between a first position and a second position. The second electrical contact device includes at least one second electrical contact device and an interlock feature to engage the actuator when the actuator is in the first position. The actuator is in the first position when the first electrical contact is in electrical communication with a power source, and the actuator is in the second position when the electrical communication between the first electrical contact and the power source is disconnected. When the actuator is in the first position and the second electrical contact engage the first electrical contact, the interlock feature engages the actuator, thereby securing the first electrical contact device and the second electrical contact device against disconnection.

SURGE PROTECTOR WITH ANTI-OFF STRUCTURE

A surge protector with an anti-off structure includes a pluggable module and a base. The base includes external terminal connection parts on both sides. The top of the external terminal connection part of the base is provided with a sliding limit device. Both sides of the pluggable module are provided with limit protruding blocks. The sliding limit device includes a hole cover, and the hole cover is slidably connected to the top of the external terminal connection part. When the pluggable module is completely inserted, a part of the hole cover protrudes into the pluggable module installation slot and is clamped with a fixing limit device of the pluggable module to limit the pluggable module from being detached from the base. When the pluggable module is removed, the hole cover is moved toward both sides, such that the hole cover is separated from the fixing limit device.
