Connector and connector assembly
A connector having a housing, a slide member, and an operation lever. The slide member slides in response to operation of the operation lever. The slide member has a guide projection and slides while the guide projection is guided in a guide groove of the housing. The slide member has a cam groove that receives a cam pin in a second connector and the slide member, by sliding, performs mating with the second connector. The slide member has a first nipping portion that nips the cam pin when it slides to a completely mated position. The housing has a second nipping portion that nips the guide projection of the slide member when the slide member slides to the completely mated position.
LEVER-TYPE CONNECTOR
A lever-type connector includes first and second connectors, and a lever member. The first connector includes a cam pin. The second connector is connected to a cable and is fitted to the first connector. The lever member includes a body and an operating part, where a cam groove into which the cam pin is inserted is formed in the body, and the operating part is contiguous to the body and is used for performing a rotating operation. The lever member is rotatably attached to the second connector and causes the first connector and the second connector to be fitted together by rotating from an initial position to a final fitting position. When the lever member is rotated, a tip of the operating part moves through a space (situated on the cable side with respect to a front face of the second connector) from which the cable is led out.
CONNECTOR
A connector includes a housing, a lever, and a spring unit, in which the cam groove is provided such that a cam follower is to be inserted through the cam groove, the cam groove being formed by connecting a half-fitting region and a normal fitting region, the half-fitting region is formed so as to approach a rotation center position of the lever from an inlet position toward a boundary position with the normal fitting region, the normal fitting region is formed so as to be away from the rotation center position from the boundary position toward a fitting end position, the cam follower is configured to be pressed against the cam groove by biasing of the spring unit and held at the fitting end position.
Connector with sub-housing and uniting portion
It is aimed to provide a connector capable of dealing with a change in the number of poles without structurally changing a mating connector. Housings (11) for accommodating terminal fittings (12) electrically connectable to tab-like terminals (52) include a main housing (11M) having a locking structure (21) for locking a mating connector (52) and a plurality of types of sub-housings (11S) having different number of poles and selectively unitable with the main housing (11M). The main housing (11M) and the sub-housing (11S) are united by coupling side surfaces to each other. A tab insertion groove (25) into which the tab-like terminal (52) is to be inserted at the time of connection to the mating connector is formed in a coupling part of the united housings (11).
Electrical connector having a locking and extraction device with mobile gripping jaws mounted on a pivot and actuated by a lever for rotation
The general field of the invention is that of the locking and extraction devices for an electrical connector in an electronic casing, said electronic casing comprising the electrical socket corresponding to said electrical connector, the connection and the extraction of the electrical connector being performed in a determined direction, parallel to the electrical contacts of the electrical connector. The connector according to the invention is mounted in a mechanical assembly comprising at least one shoulder. The electronic casing comprises a mechanical structure comprising at least one mobile gripping jaw arranged so as to grasp the shoulder of the connector and to impart thereon a translational movement in said determined direction, thus facilitating the connection or the extraction of said electrical connector in its electrical socket.
SIDE CLAMPING BGA SOCKET
Disclosed is a socket apparatus for ball grid array (BGA) balls, including a base member of electrically insulative material, a plurality of electrical contact members disposed in row and column configuration attached to the electrically insulative material, a plate member extending in a row direction, and a plurality of extension members connected to the plate member and configured to press BGA balls of a mounted BGA into the plurality of electrical contact members when the plate member is pulled in a first direction.
Connector
An operating member (11) is displaceable to an assembled position, an initial position and a connection position with respect to a housing (10). The operating member (11) is rotated from the assembled position to the initial position with support shafts (18) inserted into end portions (41) of long grooves (39) serving as a center of rotation and includes a rotating mechanism configured to increase a laterally projecting amount of the housing (10) as the operating member moves from the assembled position toward the initial position and a sliding mechanism configured to move the operating member in a direction to reduce the laterally projecting amount from the initial position to the connection position while the support shafts (18) are displaced relative to the long grooves (39) and proceed with a connecting operation of the both housings (10, 12) by cam engagement with a mating housing (12) during a movement.
LOW PROFILE SEALING INTERCONNECT WITH LATCHING INTERFACE
Various interconnect assemblies are disclosed. The interconnect assembly can include an insert having a hook protrusion that fits into a slot of a receiving region. The hook protrusion can have a curved surface that helps the hook protrusion slide into a slot as the insert is rocked toward the receiving region to seat the insert in the receiving region. The receiving region can have a latch that snaps over a key portion of the insert to keep the insert seated in the receiving region.
Electrical coupling unit
A coupling unit has an electrical-connector for push-fit electrical connection in the coupling unit axial direction to a mating electrical-connector of a unit. The electrical-connector and mating electrical-connector have engagement formations permitting push-fit connection only when the electrical-connector is in predetermined rotational alignment about axial direction with the mating electrical-connector. The coupling unit has a backshell in fixed rotational relationship with the electrical-connector and extending rearwardly therefrom to house, in use, one or more leads extending rearwardly from the electrical-connector. The coupling unit has coaxial actuation sleeve surrounding the backshell. The actuation sleeve axially moves to effect push-fit connection. The backshell and actuation sleeve are operatively connected so: actuation sleeve movement in forward axial direction towards the unit is resisted by electrical-connector contact with the mating electrical-connector to produce backshell rotation, thereby aligning the electrical-connector with the mating electrical-connector and allowing push-fit connection of the electrical-connector to the mating electrical-connector.
Retention-extraction device for removable cards in a chassis
A retention-extraction device is provided for a removable card in a chassis. The device includes an actuation rod having a cam slot, the actuation rod configured to provide linear movement along the length of the actuation rod, and an extraction lever operatively connected to a proximal end of the actuation rod and pivotally secured to the chassis. The device also includes a bell crank with a cam follower that is configured to ride in the cam slot and a latch hook that pivots between an open and closed position based on the motion of the bell crank. The linear movement of the actuation rod causes the extraction lever to apply a force to a portion of the card and causes the latch hook to pivot to an open position to allow removal of the card.
