Poke-in electrical connector

An electrical connector includes a housing having contact channels with electrical contacts received therein each having a poke-in spring beam configured to engage an electrical wire when poked-in to the housing. The electrical contact is movable between a resting position when no wire is present in the wire channel and a clearance position where the electrical contact allows the electrical wire to be removed from the wire channel. Pivot levers are held by the housing and are coupled to corresponding electrical contacts with a pivot end pivotably coupled to the housing and a push button end having a push button pressed to move the corresponding electrical contact to the clearance position. When the electrical wire is loaded into the wire channel, the electrical contact is positioned in a pinching position in which the spring beam pinches against the electrical wire in physical contact with the electrical wire.

Electrical connector with male blade stabilizer

An electrical connector can include a male blade stabilizer that protects one or more male blade terminals from external objects before, during, and after coupling of the male connector to a female connector. The male blade stabilizer can be slidably disposed within a housing of the male connector and configured to retract when the female connector is coupled to the male connector and extend when the female connector is decoupled from the male connector. The male blade stabilizer is moveable from an extended position to a retracted position when a lever lock of a lever is resiliently deflected by the engagement of a female housing with the male housing to a pre-set position.

CONNECTOR PART OF A CONNECTOR UNIT

A connector part of a connector unit having a connecting structure and a guiding assembly, wherein the connecting structure is moveable between at least two positions at least one of the at least two positions being a connection position and wherein the guiding assembly determines a movement of the connecting structure in the connection position. The guiding assembly has a first keyway, at least a second keyway and at least one key being engaged in the first keyway and the at least second keyway to bring the connecting structure in the connection position due to a movement of the key in the first keyway and the at least second keyway.

Electrical connector with mating interlock members

An electrical connector comprises a first housing, a second housing, a lever adapted to couple the first housing and the second housing with each other, a first interlock member, a second interlock member, a first cam mechanism adapted to mate the first housing and the second housing with each other with movement of the lever in a first direction, and a second cam mechanism. The second interlock member is configured to be mated with the first interlock member to energize an electric circuit. The first cam mechanism limits a moving direction of the lever to a second direction after moving in the first direction. The second cam mechanism is adapted to convert the movement of the lever in the second direction into movement in a mating direction of the first housing and the second housing to mate the first interlock member with the second interlock member.

COVER ASSEMBLY AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY

A connector assembly having a cover assembly housing a first electrical component and a second electrical component. The cover assembly includes a mating connector receiving recess, a first component receiving recess and a second component receiving recess. A separating wall mechanically and electrically separates the first component receiving recess from the second component receiving recess. Latches are positioned in the first and second component receiving recess proximate the mating connector receiving recess. The latches cooperate with the electrical components to maintain the electrical component in the component receiving recesses. A seal is provided about an inside perimeter of the mating connector receiving recess. Bus bars electrically connect the first electrical component to the second electrical component. Wherein when the cover assembly is mated to the mating connector, a sealed compartment is provided that protects the first electrical components and the second electrical components from the environment.

A high-current electrical connector (1) is codable for use with a certain mating electrical connector and flexibly and comfortably adaptable to the conditions of a tight installation space in which the high-current electrical connector is used. The insulating body (14) of the high-current electrical connector is retained on the pin contact (11) such that said insulating body can be rotated about the pin axis (S). Thus, the mating electrical connector (4) connected thereto, coded therefor and aligned therewith can be rotatably retained such that the angled cable outlet (42) of the mating electrical connector can be flexibly oriented within the installation space as required.

A lever-type connector 10 disclosed by this specification includes a housing (20), a lever (40), a cover (50) and a lever lock portion (23) provided to extend backward from a rear end (22) of the housing (20) and hold the lever (40) at a rear position by locking an operating portion (42). The cover (50) is composed of an upper cover (52) and a lower cover (51) to be assembled below the upper cover (52). The upper cover (52) includes an upper locking portion (56) configured to cover an upper lock receiving portion (24) provided on the rear end (22) of the housing (20) from above and lock the upper lock receiving portion (24) from front and the lever lock portion (23) is arranged along an upper surface of the upper cover (52).

Plug connector and plug connector arrangement having a plug connector of this kind

A plug connector for plugging onto or into a counterpart plug connector, having at least two counterpart contact elements, in a plugging direction. The plug connector has a housing having a first plane that faces in the plugging direction. The housing has at least two contact chambers, each of which has an opening in the first plane. At least two of the contact chambers in the housing are embodied separately from one another. A wall, which protrudes from the first plane when viewed oppositely from the plugging direction, is disposed between at least two mutually adjacent contact chambers. Alternatively or additionally, at least one groove is disposed in the first plane between at least two mutually adjacent contact chambers.
