MEMORY SOCKET WITH A PUSH EJECT LOCKING MECHANISM
20250079765 · 2025-03-06 ·

A memory socket includes a frame having a base portion and a side portion, and a push-eject locking mechanism in physical communication with the base portion and with the side portion. The push-eject locking mechanism to transition between an unlocked position and a locked position. The push-eject locking mechanism includes an eject bar component and a lever component. The weight of the eject bar component biases the push-eject locking mechanism towards the unlocked position. Based on a force being exerted on the lever component, the lever component pivots and transition the push-eject locking mechanism from the unlocked position to the locked position.

Flexible printed circuit board arrangement

There may be provided a fastener arrangement. The fastener arrangement may include a first fastener tape including a first plurality of electrically conductive coupling elements and a first plurality of non-electrically conductive coupling elements. The fastener arrangement may further include a second fastener tape comprising a second plurality of electrically conductive coupling elements and a second plurality of non-electrically conductive coupling element. The fastener arrangement may further include a slider couplable to the first fastener tape and the second fastener tape for reversibly interleaving and interlocking the first plurality of electrically conductive and non-electrically conductive coupling elements with their corresponding second plurality of electrically conductive and non-electrically conductive elements. The interleaved and interlocked first and second plurality of electrically conductive coupling elements may form a plurality of conductive-bridges and the interleaved and interlocked first and second plurality of non-electrically conductive coupling elements may form a plurality of insulation-bridges.

Electrical connector system

An electrical connector system includes a circuit card assembly and a pluggable module. The circuit card assembly including a host circuit board, a socket connector mounted to the host circuit board, and a guide rail extending along the host circuit board. The socket connector has a socket substrate having upper contacts having mating interfaces being accessible from above the socket connector and being coplanar. The guide rail has a guide feature and a module actuator. The pluggable module includes a module body operatively engaging the guide rail to guide mating of the module body with the guide rail in a module mating direction. The pluggable module includes an actuation feature engaging the module actuator to force mating of module contacts with the upper contacts in a contact mating direction transverse to the module mating direction.
