Pluggable module having pull tether for latch release
A pluggable module includes a plug body, a deflectable beam, and a tether. A rear end of the plug body is removably receivable in a module cavity of a cage member. The deflectable beam extends from a fixed end to a free end that is spaced apart from the plug body by a clearance gap. The deflectable beam includes a catch feature engaging a complementary catch feature of the cage member to secure the pluggable module in the module cavity. The tether extends through the plug body within a tether channel. A mounting end of the tether is secured to the deflectable beam and a handle of the tether projects beyond the front end of the plug body. Frontward movement of the handle deflects the deflectable beam into the clearance gap for disengaging the catch features to allow removal of the pluggable module from the module cavity.
Positive lock sealed terminal connector
A connector for providing an electrical connection between at least one terminating mating terminal to a substrate. The connector includes a housing having at least one terminal receiving cavity. A receptacle terminal is positioned in the at least one terminal receiving cavity. The receptacle terminal has a latching projection which cooperates with the at least one mating terminal to retain the at least one mating terminal in electrical engagement with the receptacle terminal when the at least one mating terminal is fully inserted in the at least one terminal receiving cavity. A release mechanism is provided in the housing in line with the latching projection of the receptacle terminal, the release mechanism is configured to cooperate with the receptacle terminal to depress the latching projection when the at least one mating terminal is to be removed from the at least one terminal receiving cavity.
CABLE CONNECTOR AND CABLE CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY WITH IMPROVED UNLOCKING MECHANISM
A cable connector includes an insulating housing with a receiving cavity, a metal connecting member with an inner cavity, a conductive terminal, a cable, and an unlocking mechanism. The conductive terminal is installed in the inner cavity of the metal connecting member. The metal connecting member is received in the receiving cavity and connected with the cable. The insulating housing includes a body portion and a locking portion located on one side of the body portion. The unlocking mechanism cooperates with the locking portion and is configured to drive the first end portion to move in a first direction and drive the second end portion to move in a second direction. The present disclosure also provides a cable connector assembly. By providing the unlocking mechanism matched with the insulating housing, it facilitates the unlocking between the cable connector and the mating connector.
INTEGRATED QUICK DISCONNECT CONNECTOR
A cable connector includes a slide coupled to a spring to bias the slide from a retracted position to an extended position and at least one latch coupled to the slide. The slide, when in the extended position, is configured to rotate the at least one latch to secure the at least one latch, and when in the retracted position, is configured to rotate the at least one latch in an opposite direction to release the at least one latch. The slide is configured to engage a contact switch when securing the at least one latch.

Latch mechanisms for modules
Latch mechanisms for modules are disclosed. A module includes a housing and a release slide. The housing includes a first rib located on a first side of the housing and a second rib located on a second side of the housing. The release slide is slidingly positioned on the housing. The release slide includes a release slide base, a first release slide arm extending from the release slide base, and a second release slide arm extending from the release slide base. A first flange extending from the first release slide arm is positioned at least partially over the first rib. A second flange extending from the second release slide arm is positioned at least partially over the second rib.
Apparatus for ejecting at least one integrated circuit card
An apparatus is described. In an embodiment, the apparatus comprises a housing; a tray; an ejector; a push member having two positions, the push member is configured to receive an external force for moving the push member and to operate the ejector to eject the tray to an ejected open position when the push member is moved to a second position and to maintain in the second position; and a switch comprising two electric position; the switch is configured to switch to a first electric position when receiving the external force, and the push member is configured to maintain the switch in the first electric position when the push member is moved to the second position causing the tray to eject; when the tray is returned to a retracted closed position, the push member is moved to a first position causing the switch to switch to a second electric position.
Connector for connecting together underwater cables and in particular umbilical cables for renewable marine energy farms
A connector for connecting underwater cables includes: a connection housing in which the cables enter parallel to each other and parallel to a first direction; and a handling bar, connected to the connection housing by a linking unit hinged along an axis perpendicular to the first direction.
RJ TYPE CONNECTOR INCLUDING A DISENGAGEMENT FEATURE ACTING ON THE LATCH OF THE CONNECTOR
The invention relates to a connector (1) for data connections, in particular of the RJ type, with a latch element (6) for securing a connection to a counter-connector. In order to simplify a disconnection of the connector (1) and the counter-connector, even when the connection is secured by the latch connection, the invention provides that the connector (1) is provided with a gripping end (5, 5′) that is adapted to transfer the latch element (6) from its latch position (L) and to disconnect the connector (1) from the counter-connector by a single movement.
