LOCKING ELECTRICAL RECEPTACLE WITH ELONGATE CLAMPING SURFACES
A method and apparatus (utility) for securing an electrical connection formed by a mating structure including prongs of a male assembly and receptacles of a female assembly are provided. The utility includes a clamping mechanism whereby the very forces that would otherwise tend to pull the connection apart serve to actuate the clamping mechanism, thereby securing the mated pair. The apparatus may be integrated into a standard receptacle, or retrofitted to work with existing devices. In one embodiment, the clamping mechanism acts solely on the ground prong of a standard plug assembly, so that it is unnecessary to consider electrical potentials applied to the clamped prong in relation to the design of the clamping mechanism. Further, the withdrawing movement of the prongs of a plug may cause elongate clamping surfaces of the clamping mechanism to frictionally engage opposing surfaces of the clamped prong.
Power adapter
A power adapter, comprising an adapter body, a power cord and a snap-fitting cover, the adapter body is provided with a socket, the power cord is provided with a plug plugged in and connected with the socket, and the snap-fitting cover includes the snap-fitting portion and the fixing portion, the fixing portion is movably connected to the end of the adapter body, the snap-fitting portion is provided with a groove which is shapely matched with the plug, and a groove is snap-fitted to the outer side of the plug. The snap-fitting cover is connected with the plug and the adapter body at the same time to retain the plug and the adapter body, and the plug is not easily disengaged from the socket of the adapter body under the external forces, thereby making the use of the power adapter more stable and reliable.
Cable tether system
A cable tether system includes a base member and at least one elongate member extending away from the base member. The elongate member is configured to surround at least a portion of a first cable. A second elongate member can be configured to surround at least a portion of a second cable. The base member can include one or more engagement portions that couple with one or more engagement portions on the first and second elongate members.
Cord Restraint for Electrical Cords and Medical Tubing Restraint for Medical Tubing
A device and method for holding an electrical cord or medical tubing, such as a cellular phone charging cord or intravenous tube, so that the electrical cord or medical tubing is easily restrained, located and retrieved. The device may be constructed of a flexible body that may be in any desirable shape. The body is provided with a slit that extends some distance, and in some embodiments, approximately halfway through the body. An electrical cord or medical tubing can be inserted through the slit. At the center of the body, the slit is enlarged to form a channel for receiving the electric cord or medical tubing. With the electric cord or medical tubing secured within the channel in the body, the electric cord or medical tubing is easily located and less likely to fall off a surface where the electric cord or medical tubing is placed.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING CABLE CONNECTOR HAND TOOLS
An illustrative cable connector hand tool and associated method are operable to permit cable connection sections to respectively pass through a side opening of hand tool members into a center aperture of the tool members. In one illustrative embodiment, the hand tool members are formed with a recessed portion adapted to receive an end of one of a pair of cable connectors such that mating edges of the cable connectors used to couple the cable connection sections are visible when the cable connectors are in a coupled configuration abutting each other. An illustrative embodiment includes the recessed portion formed with a plurality of keyway indentions or recesses spaced apart in the center aperture that are operable to engage keys, protrusions, or lugs on an outer wall of the cable connectors.
ELECTRICAL RECEPTACLE WITH LOCKING FEATURE
An electrical receptacle unit with locking feature includes a receptacle adapted to be electrically connected to a source of electricity. The receptacle includes an electrical fitting having electrical contacts contained therein and/or extending therefrom, a socket surrounding the electrical fitting, and a plate disposed at a front of the socket. The electrical receptacle unit further includes a locking bracket that includes a central portion having first and second ends, a lock tab extending from a side of the central portion, and a pair of support arms, each extending forwardly from a respective one of the first and second ends. The locking bracket is pivotably secured to the plate, with at least a portion of each support arm positioned within a respective notched area of the plate. The locking bracket is pivotable relative to the plate between a first position, whereby a plug electrically seated within the socket is unobstructed, and a second position, whereby the plug electrically seated within the socket is obstructed from removal by the lock tab.
Power socket
A power socket includes a main body and a latch member. The main body includes a connection seat, a receiving recess and a latching slot. The connection seat is disposed within the receiving recess and configured to electrically connect with a plug passing, when the power plug is fitted in the receiving recess along a first direction. The latching slot is in communication with the receiving recess. The latch member includes an arm slidable along the latching slot from a first position to a second position along a second direction. The arm includes at least one protrusion configured to slide into the receiving recess for engaging with a lateral wall of the power plug when the arm slides towards the second position.
Plug socket anti-disengagement device
The invention includes an adjustable plug and socket anti-disengagement device, which comprises a bracket body that is able to lock two ends of cords and associated sockets and plugs, such that they cannot be disconnected. This includes wherein the bracket body includes one or more a pull buckles and slide grooves, and slide plates, such that the body can be released and opened to either to unlock and remove or insert and lock two disparate plugs to be connected.
WIRING CONNECTOR, FLEXIBLE PRINTED CIRCUIT, TOUCH PANEL, AND DISPLAY DEVICE
Embodiments of this disclosure provide a wiring connector, a flexible printed circuit, a touch panel, and a display device, and the wiring connector includes: a male joint including a first body, first lead terminals arranged on the first body, and two grooves arranged on the first body along an arrangement direction of the first lead terminals; and a female joint including a second body, second lead terminals arranged on the second body, and two clamp structures installed on the second body, wherein the second lead terminals can be socketed respectively with the first lead terminals; and when the second lead terminals are socketed respectively with the first lead terminals, the two clamp structures clamp respectively into the two grooves on the first body.
