Power cord detachable structure for portable hair curler

The disclosure discloses a novel power cord detachable structure for portable hair curler, including a power cord, an encapsulation is fixed to one end of the power cord, and an upper handle is fixed to the top of the encapsulation. By providing a fixing slot on the fixing sleeve and inserting the fixing sleeve into the appliance, the fixing sleeve is rotated to loose and fasten the fastener, thereby achieving the detaching effect. By providing and pushing the tail sleeve, the internal rotary lock is opened, the power cord is inserted into the product, the tail sleeve is loosened, and the fixing point inside the tail sleeve returns to the position where the lock is pushed, so that the power cord will not be detached. The tail sleeve is pushed so that the internal rotary lock is opened, and the power cord can be pulled out smoothly.

An article and method for securing electric and data connection plugs to an outlet are disclosed. The article includes an outlet cover with anchoring points and an encasing hood containing a plug with engagement mechanisms to engage with the anchoring points. In an alternate embodiment the article includes a flexible elastomeric device with open portions to secure a plug and cord and cross portions to secure to anchoring points on the outlet cover. The methods include releasably securing the articles to the outlet cover.

ELECTRICAL PLUG CONNECTOR OPTIMIZED FOR INSTALLATION

An electrical plug connector for a vehicle comprises a plug with a plug casing in which a contact chamber is formed, an electrical contact part arranged in the contact chamber, a locking bolt for releasably attaching a plug-in contact to the contact part, and a socket to be plugged with the plug, a socket casing and a plug-in contact attached thereto. The plug connector has a locking slide attachable to the plug casing that is mounted on the casing for displacement at least into a locking position in a direction transverse to the plugging direction of the plug, to lock the plug to the socket. The locking slide has a guide slot extending substantially transversely to the plugging direction and having an inclined plane to guide the locking bolt of the contact part as it is moved into the locking position.

Electrical cord connection covering techniques

An electrical connection covering apparatus is designed to protect from moisture a connection between a plug of one extension cord and a socket of another extension cord. A compressible and elastic diaphragm is used to form a seal around the cables of the extension cords where they enter the apparatus. The apparatus includes a housing that has at least one aperture. The diaphragm extends across the aperture. The diaphragm projects inwardly with respect to an interior surface of the housing. The compressibility and elasticity of the diaphragm material is greater than that of the housing material.

A method and apparatus (“utility”) for securing an electrical connection formed by a mating structure including prongs of a male assembly and receptacles of a female assembly are provided. The utility includes a clamping mechanism whereby the very forces that would otherwise tend to pull the connection apart serve to actuate the clamping mechanism, thereby securing the mated pair. The apparatus may be integrated into a standard receptacle, or retrofitted to work with existing devices. In one embodiment, the clamping mechanism acts solely on the ground prong of a standard plug assembly, so that it is unnecessary to consider electrical potentials applied to the clamped prong in relation to the design of the clamping mechanism. Further, the withdrawing movement of the prongs of a plug may cause elongate clamping surfaces of the clamping mechanism to frictionally engage opposing surfaces of the clamped prong.

Wire management and wire entry cover bracket

A bracket is disclosed for managing the entry of one or more wires into an opening of an electronic equipment chassis. The bracket includes mounting holes configured to accept fasteners for engaging the bracket to the chassis. The bracket also includes a wire support portion having openings for receiving ends of a cable tie to secure one or more wires to the bracket. A faceplate portion of the bracket is positionable to overlie the portion of the chassis opening that is not occupied by the wire(s) to prevent access to the interior of the chassis. A plurality of brackets can be provided for electronic equipment chassis that have multiple openings. Other embodiments are disclosed and claimed.

ADJUSTABLE EXTENSION CORD LOCK
