SYSTEM FOR LOCKING A FITTING BASE OF A PLUG TO A PLUG, ASSOCIATED FITTING BASE AND PLUG
A fitting base of a plug includes a supporting element including at least one opening suitable for receiving at least one connector of the plug, a first stationary portion projecting from the supporting element, a first movable portion secured to the first stationary portion, the movable portion having a shape and dimensions suitable for the insertion thereof into a first cavity in the plug when the at least one connector of the plug is fitted in the at least one opening in the supporting element.
CABLE CONNECTOR WITH BACKSHELL LOCKING
A cable connector that includes a housing that receives a contact member and has opposite first and second ends, an inner sleeve having an insert section extending into the second end of the housing and a cable termination section for receiving a cable and that includes a locking portion, a backshell having a first end that couples to the second end of the housing and an opposite second end that surrounds the sleeve's cable termination section, and a locking member positioned between the sleeve's cable termination section and the second end of the backshell. The locking member has a locking element for cooperating with the sleeve's locking portion. The backshell is rotatable with respect to the housing in a tightening direction, and the locking element engages the locking portion of the inner sleeve such that rotation of the backshell in a loosening direction opposite the tightening direction is prevented.
CHARGER LATCH ASSISTING DEVICE
An embodiment charger latch assisting device includes a contactor provided in contact with a latch button of a charger, an output clutch coupled to the contactor to rotate in conjunction with the contactor, a detection target coupled to the output clutch to move in conjunction with the output clutch, and a detector configured to detect a movement of the detection target to identify a movement of the latch button.
Single conductor connector guard
A conductor connector guard adapted for enclosing or housing one-to-many junctions between separable connectors. The guard is configured to house separable connectors for 3-channel, 5-channel, or 7-channel power distribution, with some of the embodiments presented being configured to house five pairs of separable connectors, with the connectors taking the form of single-pole conductor connectors in some cases. The guard is designed to comply with safety requirements for power distribution junctions that may be positioned within a public space. The guard is configured to provide a compact solution when contrasted with prior configurations involving physical barriers around power distribution junctions or involving physical objects such as trash cannisters and planters being placed over junctions. The guard is also adapted to provide enhanced public safety for spliced or joined conductors and to sequester energy sources in public spaces such as with a lock and tag out-type device.
Electrical connector assembly
An electrical connector assembly includes a socket defining a central cavity and having a plurality of pins arranged inside the central cavity. The electrical connector assembly further includes a plug having a body adapted to extend, at least partially, inside the central cavity and defining a plurality of receptacles to receive the plurality of pins. The plug also includes a cover arranged surrounding, at least partly, the body and adapted to engage with the socket. The cover includes a pair of elongated wings arranged diametrically opposite to each other and directed outwardly and extending along a longitudinal portion of the cover.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE
The present disclosure describes an electronic device, including: a card holder, a card tray, a processing chip, and an unlocking structure, where a slot that accommodates the card tray is disposed on the card holder, and at least one locking structure is disposed in the slot; the unlocking structure includes an electromagnet, the unlocking structure is connected to the processing chip, the card tray is configured to accommodate a card of the electronic device, and at least one locking part that fits the locking structure is disposed on the card tray; and the processing chip is configured to: in response to a card removal operation signal being received, verify a user identity, and in response to the user identity verification succeeding, control the unlocking structure to release the card tray.
Lockout device for securing cable connector
A lockout device includes a first ring portion positioned around a first side of a connector. A second ring portion is positioned around a second side of the connector. A fastener allows a user to selectively secure the ring portions thereby forming a tubular ring surrounding the connector. An inner facing protrusion extends toward a center of the tubular ring and into a gap present on the connector. The inner facing protrusion remains in the gap of the connector regardless of movement of the lockout device about the connector while the first ring portion is secured to the second ring portion. The inner facing protrusion holds the lockout device captive around the connector and the tubular ring covers a disconnection mechanism of the connector. A secondary tool is required in order to detach the first ring portion from the second ring portion for accessing the disconnection mechanism of the connector.
Apparatus for locking USB port
Disclosed is an apparatus for locking a USB port. The apparatus is configured to be coupled with the USB port including a connection part with recessed grooves, and includes: a main body including first and second mounting portions; a port coupling part coupled with the second mounting portion, and inserted into and coupled with the USB port; a locking part movably provided in the port coupling part and being movable between a lock position where the locking part is coupled with the recessed grooves and a release position where the locking part is separated from the recessed grooves; and a locking and releasing part provided in the first mounting portion to be movable reciprocally, the locking and releasing part controlling locking and releasing motions of the locking part relative to the recessed grooves by interfering with the locking part when the locking and releasing part moves.
Securement Device for a Cable Connector
A securement device for engagement with a cable connector held in a mating socket by a release lever. The device features at least one socket formed into a body which is configured to engage with a cable connector which requires a release lever to maintain the cable connector in the socket. A locking pin engageable through opening on a sidewall is positionable to contact against a shoulder of the cable connector from which the release lever extends to hold the cable connector in the socket until the locking pin is removed. Defective cable connectors lacking an operative release lever can also be held in operative engagement in the socket by the locking pin.
PROTECTION DEVICE FOR LINK CONNECTORS TO THE ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTICS OF A VEHICLE
The protection device (1) for link connectors to the on-board diagnostics of a vehicle comprises: a covering body (3) of a connection port (2) of the OBD type of an on-board diagnostic system of a vehicle; electronic detection means (5) for detecting the connection/disconnection of the covering body (3) to/from the connection port (2); a radio-wave communication unit (9) operatively connected to the electronic detection means (5) and able to send to one central control unit (10) of the vehicle at least one notification signal (S) of the connection/disconnection of the covering body (3) to/from the connection port (2).
