Apparatus and method for controlling locking of a charging inlet of a vehicle
An apparatus for controlling locking of a charging inlet includes a charging inlet including an input device configured to be provided at a position where pressurization is determined based on a type of a connector of a charging cable and to be engaged with the connector, an on board charger (OBC) configured to generate an inlet unlocking signal when the input device is pressurized by the connector, and a controller configured to unlock the charging inlet when the inlet unlocking signal is received.
Cap security system
The present system generally relates to a tamper resistant cap that prevents unwanted access to a semi-tractor trailer's 7 ways connection. The system includes a controller that can be operated remotely to transmit signals to an actuator within the cap. The actuator operates a lock to secure the cap in the closed position and selectively unlock the lock to allow the cap to be opened.
CHARGING ADAPTER AND CHARGING PROTECTION METHOD FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE
A charging adapter for electric vehicle includes a connecting mechanism, a control board, a charging plug, a charging socket, a locking pressure plate and an electromagnet iron. The control board monitors the temperature change inside the charging adapter and control the switch-off. The charging plug and the charging socket are installed at two ends of the connecting mechanism respectively. When used, the charging plug is connected to a charging socket of the electric vehicle, and the charging socket is connected to a charging gun to activate an operating control system of the electric vehicle. The locking pressure plate is installed in a surface of the end of connection mechanism near the charging plug. The electromagnet iron is installed inside the connection mechanism and located under the locking pressure plate, and is combined with the locking pressure plate to lock the charging adapter with the charging socket of the electric vehicle.
PORT LOCK MODULE FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND PORT LOCK APPARATUS INCLUDING SAME
A port lock module for an electronic device includes a module frame formed by corresponding to size and shape of a port of an electronic device and having a frame shape having open opposite ends, the module frame having a main locking member configured to be transformed outward by an external force so as to be held in or released from a locking hole formed in the port, a locking module having a locking module body fixedly installed inside the module frame, and a sub-locking member connected to the locking module body such that the sub-locking member is elastically transformable, and a pattern module being installed to move inside and outside of the module frame between a locking position and an unlocking position.
ELECTRONIC PLUG HAVING A LOCKING ASSEMBLY FOR SECURING TO AN ELECTRONIC PORT
Example implementations relate to an electronic plug having a locking assembly for securing within an electronic port having a receptacle. The locking assembly includes a cantilever beam, a deformable arm, and an axle rotatably coupled to a connector of the electronic plug. The cantilever beam extends from the axle, where a free end of the cantilever beam includes a locking tab aligned to a recess of the connector. The deformable arm extends from the axle, where an open end of the deformable arm is rested on the connector. In a biased state of the deformable arm, the locking tab is positioned below the recess to allow movement of the connector in and out of the receptacle. In a relaxed state of the deformable arm, the locking tab protrudes above the recess to allow movement of the connector into the receptacle and prevent movement of the connector out of the receptacle.
UNLOCKING KEY FOR PORT LOCK OF ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An unlocking key for a port lock of an electronic device for unlocking and separating, from a port of the electronic device, a blocking module which is inserted and coupled to the port of the electronic device and has a key recess in which a pattern part and a latch key holding recess are formed on different inner surfaces of the key recess, includes a main body casing, a movable housing installed to protrude from a front end of the main body casing, a pattern key which is fixedly installed to protrude from a front end of the movable housing, a latch key which protrudes from the front end of the movable housing, and a manipulation part which is movably installed in the main body casing and controls reciprocating of the movable housing and opening and closing of the latch key.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A LOCKING ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONNECTOR
An electric vehicle charging connector, including a set of pins, a sensor, and a controller. The set of pins may include a DC pin, wherein the DC pin is configured to supply DC power to a charging port, wherein the charging port comprises a locking mechanism. The sensor can detect power flow from the pins to the charging port. The controller is communicatively connected to the sensor and configured to receive a signal from the sensor and send a locking signal to a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism comprises an engaged state wherein the charging connector is mechanically coupled to the charging port and a disengaged state wherein the charging connector is mechanically uncoupled form the charging port, wherein the locking mechanism is configured to receive a locking signal from the controller of the charging connector and enter the engaged state.
Contraband detection through smart power components
A method and system for contraband detection is provided that allows for the determining whether devices are authorized to receive power from an outlet. A power adapter and/or an outlet authenticate a device when it is connected to the outlet through the power adapter. On the basis of this authentication, a determination is made whether the devices are to receive power from the outlet. If the device is authorized, the outlet is activated, transitioning from inactive state (where no power is relayed through the outlet) to an active state (where power is relayed through the outlet).
Low insertion force connector
The lever member includes a rotation fulcrum point portion which is attached to a rotation shaft of a terminal storage body to be rotatable, a lever operation portion which is a force point portion during a lever operation, a fitting operation point portion which performs a fitting operation while sliding a counterpart target guide portion to apply a force between the target guide portion and the fitting operation point portion along with a rotation operation about the rotation fulcrum point portion as a rotation center in response to the rotation operation of the lever operation portion, and a target fixation portion which is fastened to a target fixation portion of a terminal storage body and a counterpart fixation portion after the fitting is completed.
Tamper evident cable seal
A cable seal is provided for attachment to a cable connector. The cable seal generally includes a base portion and a breakaway portion. The breakaway includes a tooth which is positioned under the cable release lever to prevent removal of the cable connector from a communications port. If removal of the cable seal is desired, a breakaway portion of the cable seal is permanently detached from the remainder of the cable seal evidencing access to the port has been gained.
