Tamper evident port protector
A port protector is provided by a base member that engages the port and a slidably mounted slide member. Locking members are provided on the base member and the slide member such that when the locking members are engage the slide member does not slide relative to the base member. Unlocking of the port protector is achieved by removing or perforating a tongue of the base. Removal of the tongue provides evidence that access to the port was achieved.
LOCK-IN DEVICE FOR NETWORK CABLES
A lock-in device for network cables includes a locker, a holding section, and an elastic seesaw. The locker has a through hole for modular connectors to engage therein and to be removed therefrom and a locker hole parallel to the through hole for a key to be inserted therein; an extended end is arranged at a rear end of the locker hole and a space and a fillister with an inclined surface are arranged adjacent to the locker hole. The holding section is disposed in the space with a first depression facing upward at a front end thereof and a second depression facing downward at a rear end thereof. The elastic seesaw has a positioning portion at a rear end thereof extending upwards and forming an elastic piece abutting the second depression for the holding section to be operated by the elasticity. The device thereby enables simultaneous operation of unlocking and removing.
Connector system with disconnection evident connector position assurance feature
A connector system including a first connector body, a second connector body configured to mate with the first connector body, a locking feature configured to secure the second connector body to the first connector body, and a connector position assurance (CPA) device that, when engaged, inhibits operation of the locking feature. A portion of the second connector body and the CPA device cooperate to form a box to completely enclose the locking feature, thereby inhibiting disengagement of the CPA device from the locking feature. The CPA device has a flexible lock arm configured to secure the CPA device to the second connector body. A portion of the CPA lock arm may be configured to be frangible. The second connector body and/or the CPA device may define an aperture configured to provide access to the CPA lock arm. The aperture is at least partially blocked by a frangible tab.
Safety electrical lockout arrangement
A lockout frame arrangement for an electrical outlet box arrangement, comprising an electrical outlet box arranged for receipt of electrical outlets, a cover plate attachable to an open side of the electrical outlet box, for securement of electrical sockets therewithin, with a rectilinear outer cover capturing frame securely sandwiched between the cover plate and the open side of the electrical outlet box. An outer protective cover plate is matingly attached to and securable within a perimeter of the outer cover capturing frame.
USB lock for electronic devices
A USB lock for an electronic device may comprise an inner casing, an outer casing, a USB connector and a driving unit. The inner casing has a front opening to secure the USB connector thereon. A rear portion of the inner casing has a tube body, and a first through hole penetrating through the tube body is communicated with the front opening and configured to receive the driving unit with a lock rod and a key lock. The USB lock of the present invention is configured to engage with a USB port of a 3C product to achieve the anti-theft effect, which is easily to assembly, simplifies the structure, lowers manufacturing cost and prevents the 3C product from getting infected with a virus through an unsafe USB.
Method and system for communication between a vehicle and a charging station for unlocking mechanical charging cable coupling
A method for communicating between an electric vehicle and a charging station for electrically charging at least one energy storage device of the electric vehicle. The electric vehicle is connected to the charging station during the charging process by a lockable mechanical coupling between a terminal of charging cable connected to the vehicle and a terminal of the charging station. Charging current is fed from the charging station through the charging cable. Information is transferred in the course of the charging process based on a communication between the electric vehicle and the charging station. The information includes a signal transmitted from the electric vehicle to the charging station for locking and/or unlocking the mechanical coupling. The signal triggers the locking and/or unlocking of the mechanical coupling between the terminal of the charging cable and the terminal at the charging station.
FORCE LIMITING LATCH INDICATOR
A latch indicator apparatus for indicating a locked status of an attachment between a cable housing and a cable receptor. The latch indicator apparatus includes a latch indicator attached to a cable housing at an attachment point, a first resistive element having a first resistance, and is attached to the cable housing at the attachment point. The restive element of the latch indicator attaches to an indicator tab. The latch indicator includes an indicator window, which is positioned to indicate a locked status of the latch indicator based on the first resistance of the first resistive element. The latch indicator tests a connection between a cable housing and a cable housing by indicating a locked status. The locked status is indicated by exerting a first force on the indicator tab by pulling the indicator tab in a direction away from the connection between the cable housing and the cable receptor.
Device, system, and method for providing power from a USB-C PD connection
A system for providing power from a USB-C PD connection includes a USB-C power delivery (PD) port. The USB-C PD port is configured to provide a number of output voltages. A power cable is configured to be electrically connected with the USB-C PD port. The power cable is configured to transmit at least one voltage of the numerous output voltages to a peripheral device. A housing is coupled with the cable. The housing includes a USB-C connector configured to be removably coupled with the USB-C PD port to electrically connect the power cable with the USB-C PD port. A control circuit assembly is electrically connected with the housing. The control circuit assembly is configured to negotiate an output voltage of the numerous available output voltages between the peripheral device and the USB-C PD port.
Snap back cover lockout device
A lockout system for a receptacle mount is provided that provides an additional locking mechanism to prevent access to a receptacle mount, which may include electrical hardware such as a switch or button. The lockout system includes a first piece comprising a first base section and at least two first arms, wherein at least one of the at least two arms comprises a locking hole for receiving a locking apparatus; and a second piece comprising a second base section and at least two second arms, wherein the at least two second arms of said second piece are affixed to the at least two first arms of said first piece, wherein the second piece rotates between at least first and second positions, and in the first position, said second base section of said second piece prevents a mount receptacle cover from being opened.
Distribution tap security cover
A security cover for a distribution tap that is mounted over the top of the tap preventing access to the service drop ports on the tap. The security cover includes one or more walls, a lid allowing access through the security cover to the tap, a base plate attachable to the tap and notches in at least one wall for cable access. The lid and walls fit over and enclose the service drop ports of the tap. The lid is attachable to at least one of the walls via a z-hinge and a plunger lock is used to secure the lid to the walls. One side of the base plate is attachable to the walls and the opposite side of the base plate is attachable to the tap. The base plate is substantially open to the top surface of the tap and is attachable via the tap's existing mounting points.
