Sensor set
A sensor set is provided for sensing of a body characteristic, such as glucose. The sensor set includes a mounting base for the sensor including a shim adapted to prevent pull up of the sensor and a connector to connect to the mounting base and has an improved structure for connecting the mounting base to the connector. The connector may contain sensor electronics for wired or wireless communication to an external monitor or display. The mounting base includes latch arms and the connector adapted to fit and lock into latch recesses on the connector and includes anti-rotation arms adapted to fit into anti-rotation arm recesses on the connector.
PLUG-AND-SOCKET CONNECTOR FOR AN ELECTRICAL PLUG-AND-SOCKET CONNECTION, AND ELECTRICAL PLUG-AND-SOCKET CONNECTION CREATED THEREWITH
A plug-and-socket connector for an electrical plug-and-socket connection that has the plug-and-socket connector and a mating connector associated with the plug-and-socket connector as a mating part to which the plug-and-socket connector can be attached in a plug-in direction, wherein the plug-and-socket connector has a housing and multiple electrical plug-in contacts that are arranged at least partially in the housing and that are arranged side by side in a row direction, wherein a first housing wall of the housing, which is arranged parallel to a plane spanned by the plug-in direction and the row direction, adjoins a second housing wall of the housing, which faces in the plug-in direction and is arranged at an angle to the first housing wall.
RACK MOUNT
A system of mated connectors includes a connector having one or more connector quadrants comprising electrical contacts and a mating connector detachably secured to the connector. The mating connector includes one or more mating quadrants and electrical contacts. The mating connector configured to provide electrical coupling to the connector detachably secured thereto. The electrical contacts of a first quadrant of connector quadrants have a first predetermined pin-out and the electrical contacts of a second quadrant of the connector quadrants have a second predetermined pin-out. The electrical contacts of each quadrant of a first pair of the mating quadrants have the first predetermined pin-out and the electrical contacts of each quadrant of a second pair of the mating quadrants have the second predetermined pin-out.
Modular electrical connector assembly
A connector assembly comprises a first subassembly having a male contact and a first inner housing accommodating the male contact, a second subassembly having a female contact configured to be mated with the male contact and a second inner housing accommodating the female contact, a first connector, and a second connector matable with the first connector. The first connector has a first outer housing accommodating one of the first subassembly and the second subassembly and capable of accommodating both the first subassembly and the second subassembly. The second connector has a second outer housing accommodating the other of the first subassembly and the second subassembly and capable of accommodating both the first subassembly and the second subassembly.
MAGNETIC CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A magnetic connector assembly has a female connector with spring-loaded conductive pins slightly protruding inside a recess or cavity in the female connector's body. A corresponding male connector has a protrusion on its body with conductive pins slightly indented into the protrusion's surface. The protrusion on the male connector is sized and shaped to fit into the cavity in the female connector such that the male connector's pins engage the pins of the female connector, allowing for electrical communication across the connector assembly. Magnets on the male and female connectors secure them in a correct orientation. A unique shape ensures proper alignment of the pins and prevents the connection of incompatible devices.
