The guide holes, the guide groove, and the mating groove may each include an inclined wall to facilitate mating with a mating connector. The guide holes may extend from a mating surface of the housing or may extend from guide posts protruding from the mating surface of the housing. The mating groove may have a plurality of heights.
Powered wall plate with keyed interface
A powered wall plate may include a face plate comprising an opening extending through the face plate from the first surface to the rear surface. A first keyed interface may be formed at the rear surface of the face plate. An electrical receptacle may comprise a second keyed interface configured to be coupled with the first keyed interface, the electrical receptacle further comprising terminals disposed on sides of the electrical receptacle. Spring-biased terminals may be coupled to the face plate and coupled with the terminals. A powered feature may be coupled to the face plate and configured to be electrically coupled to the electrical receptacle through the spring-biased terminals when the first keyed interface and the second keyed interface are mateably coupled. Power may not be supplied from the electrical receptacle to the powered feature when the first keyed interface is not mateably coupled with the second keyed interface.
CONNECTOR
A connector includes a housing, a first electrode and a second electrode. The housing further includes a first body, bending parts, foolproof key positions, a second buckle, a first opening and a second opening. The first body forms a first accommodating space and a second accommodating space. The first accommodating space is provided with the foolproof key positions, the first opening, the second opening and the second buckle. The second buckle can be arranged corresponding to a first buckle of the wire end connector to buckle the wire end connector in the first accommodating space and the second accommodating space. The first electrode includes a first end and a third end, and the third end forms first current divider pins. The second electrode includes a second end and a fourth end, and the fourth end forms second current divider pins.
PATIENT MONITORING SYSTEM
A patient monitoring system has a patient monitor and a patient sensor connected to the patient monitor by a measurement cable. An electrical connector between the end of the measurement cable and the patient monitor has a male part with a shroud around a set of pins and a female part with a recess around a set of openings. An annular seal is provided between a surface of the shroud and a surface of the recess.
CHARGING CONTROL BOX DETACHABLE CHARGING CABLE SYSTEM
A charging control box detachable charging cable system includes a vehicle cable having a vehicle terminal on one end for connection to a first connection terminal of a charging control box or an external power source, and an outlet on the other end for connection to a charging inlet of a vehicle. The system also includes a portable cable having one end for connection to the external power source, and a portable terminal provided on the other end for connection to a second connection terminal of the charging control box. The vehicle terminal has a first corresponding key configured to be engaged and coupled with the first key of the first connection terminal, and the portable terminal has a second corresponding key configured to be engaged and coupled with the second key of the second connection terminal.
Magnetic Latching Connector
A magnetic latching connector for making electrical connections between cables, electrical power and signal sources, equipment and the like in a variety of medical and other applications in which it is desired to have the connection maintained with a predetermined amount of magnetic attractive force. The magnetic latching connector generally includes male and female connector components. The male and female connector components comprise male and female couplings and male and female coupling housings. The male and female coupling housings enclose electrical connections between the male and female couplings and electrical cables. Recessed within the male and female couplings are electrically conductive pins and sockets and male and female magnetic latching elements. When the male and female connector components are coupled, the pins and sockets provide electrical connections and the recessed magnetic latching elements provide a predetermined magnetic attraction force to maintain the connections.
CONNECTOR KEYING DEVICE, CONNECTOR SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR USING SAME
A connector keying system includes at least one keying device including a flange portion and a keying portion. The flange portion includes a front surface and a back surface. Each of the front surface and the back surface extend substantially parallel to a flange plane. The flange portion further includes a connector aperture extending through the flange portion. The keying portion extends around an aperture perimeter of the connector aperture and projects outward from the flange portion. The keying portion includes and extends between a first key end located at the front surface and a second key end opposite the first key end. The second key end defines a keying perimeter about the connector aperture. The keying portion has a height between the first key end and the second key end and the height is inconsistent between the first key end and the second key end along the keying perimeter.
Assembly comprising a first connector, a second connector and a coding system selectively allowing connection
An assembly (10) includes a first connector (12), and a second connector (14) mobile in axial translation relative to the first connector, a first part (16) attached to the first connector, and a first sleeve (18) axially rotatable relative to the first part between a first plurality of positions, a first blocking device (20) blocking the first sleeve, a second part (22) attached to the second connector, and a second sleeve (24) axially rotatable relative to the second part between a second plurality of positions, a second blocking device (26) blocking the second sleeve. The first sleeve, the first part, the second sleeve, and the second part have shapes that provide a coding that allows connection only if the position of the first sleeve matches the position of the second sleeve.
