Cable connector
A cable connector with a first body, a plurality of terminals, and a plurality of wires is provided. The first body comprises a plurality of first slots and a plurality of second slots. The terminals comprise a plurality of first terminals and a plurality of second terminals. Each of the first terminals and the second terminals comprises a contacting zone, a fixing zone, and a riveting zone. The first terminals and the second terminals are respectively in the first slots and the second slots of the first body. Each of the wires having a connecting part corresponding to one of the riveting zones of the first terminals and the second terminals, and a part of some of the wires are covered by insulating layers. The connecting parts of the wires are connected with the riveting zones of the corresponding terminals.
ELECTRICAL CONTACT PAD FOR ELECTRICALLY CONTACTING A CONNECTOR
An electrical contact pad for electrically contacting a connector includes a first region having a first length in a longitudinal direction, and a second region having a second length in the longitudinal direction that is greater than the first length. The first region is arranged to contact a first arm of the connector and the second region is arranged to contact a second arm of the connector. The first length being smaller than the second length results in an increase in the impedance of the electrical contact pad as compared to typical contact pads which tend to correspond to low impedance regions.

Electrical socket connector
An electrical socket connector includes: an insulation body, first terminals, second terminals, and a metal casing. The insulation body includes a basal part and a tongue plate connected to the basal part. The first terminals each include a first contact part and the second terminals each include a second contact part. Each first contact part comprises a first front contact part and a first rear contact part. Each second contact part comprises a second front contact part and a second rear contact part. The tongue plate defines first and second recesses. Each first recess is positioned between two adjacent first front contact parts. Each second recess is positioned between two adjacent second rear contact parts.

CONNECTOR AND ELECTRICAL WIRE UNIT
A connector having favorable crosstalk characteristics and common conversion characteristics and high noise immunity is provided. The connector includes a first connector having at least one pair of first terminals disposed in one housing and a second connector that includes at least one pair of second terminals disposed in another housing, and configured to be connected to the one pair of first terminals. The connector includes at least one first terminal surrounding conductors fixed inside the one housing, individually surrounding the pairs of first terminals, and are insulated from other members, and at least one second terminal surrounding conductors are fixed inside the other housing, individually surrounding the pairs of second terminals, and are insulated from other members. When the first terminals are respectively connected to the second terminals, the first terminal surrounding conductors are respectively connected to the corresponding second terminal surrounding conductors as well.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR HAVING WIDENED AND ADDED POWER TERMINALS
An electrical connector includes an insulative housing and two rows of terminals reversely-symmetrically arranged in the insulative housing, each terminal having a contacting portion, a securing portion, and a tail portion, each row of terminals comprising a first and a second grounding terminals and a first and a second power terminals, each row of terminals lacking two terminals to thereby form a first vacant space between the first grounding terminal and the first power terminal and lacking another two terminals to thereby form a second vacant space between the second grounding terminal and the second power terminal. For each row of terminals, the width of the securing portion of each of the first grounding terminal, the second grounding terminal, and the first power terminal is greater than that of each of the remaining terminals. Each row of terminals include a third power terminal disposed in the second vacant space.
CONNECTION BODY AND HARNESS
A connection body comprises a body having upper and lower surfaces, a first path and a second path. The first path has a first wired portion configured to be connected to a first core wire of a cable structure and a first terminal portion coupled to the first wired portion by a first coupling portion. The first wired portion, the first terminal portion and the first coupling portion are formed on the upper surface of the body. The second path has a second wired portion configured to be connected to a second core wire of the cable structure and a second terminal portion coupled to the second wired portion by a second coupling portion. The second wired portion is formed on the upper surface of the body. The second terminal portion is formed on the lower surface of the body.
Field terminable RJ45 plug assembly
A field terminal plug assembly including an RJ45 plug connected to a termination zone. The termination zone includes a wire cap, a rear sled, and an electrical board assembly with attached insulation displacement contacts (IDCs) electrically connected to the twisted wire-pairs of assembly cable. The wire cap is configured to terminate twisted wire-pairs of a communications cable to the IDCs when the wire cap is inserted into the rear sled. The IDCs contain at least a first and a second IDC, the first IDC having a first horizontal length and a first vertical length and the second IDC having a second horizontal length and a second vertical length. The first vertical length does not equal the second vertical length but the first vertical length plus the first horizontal length equals the second vertical length plus the second horizontal length.
