An electrical connector includes a housing and a pair of contact wafers. Each contact wafer includes an insulative plate and a plurality of contacts. The contacts include a plurality of grounding contacts and plural differential-pair contacts. Each contact includes a contacting section extending beyond a front edge of the plate, a tail section exposed outside of a bottom edge of the plate and a connecting section linked between the contacting section and the tail section. The plate includes a plurality of first through holes formed along the connecting section of each grounding contact, and a plurality of second through holes formed along the connecting sections of each pair of the differential-pair contacts. The first through holes and the second through hole are essentially offset from each other in both the first direction and the second direction which are perpendicular to each other.

An electrical connector includes: a first terminal with one end having a first contact and a second terminal with one end having a second contact. The first contact is located in a first accommodating hole, and a first distance exists between the first contact and an inner wall of the first accommodating hole. A width of the second contact is greater than a width of the first contact. The second contact is located in a second accommodating hole, and a second distance exists between the second contact and the inner wall of the second accommodating hole. A width of the first accommodating hole at the first contact is equal to a width of the second accommodating hole at the second contact, and the first distance is greater than the second distance.

An electrical connector includes: an insulating body, a first terminal and a second terminal. The insulating body is provided with a mating slot. At least one side of the mating slot is provided with two accommodating holes, and the accommodating holes are in communication with the mating slot. One end of the first terminal has a first contact located in a first accommodating hole, and a first distance exists between the first contact and an inner wall of the first accommodating hole. One end of the second terminal has a second contact. A width of the second contact is equal to a width of the first contact. The second contact is located in a second accommodating hole. A second distance exists between the second contact and an inner wall of the second accommodating hole. By reducing the second distance, the second distance is less than the first distance.

Connector

A connector (1) includes a dielectric (10) having conductor accommodation chambers (17) laterally partitioned by a separation wall (15), inner conductors (36) individually accommodated in the conductor accommodation chambers (17), a body (11) made of synthetic resin, constituting the dielectric (10) and formed with the separation wall (15) and the conductor accommodation chambers (17), and a front wall (28) made of synthetic resin, constituting the dielectric (10) and mounted on a front part of the body (11) to close front end openings of the conductor accommodation chambers (17). The separation wall (15) is made of a material having a lower dielectric constant than the front wall (28), and the front wall (28) is made of a material having a higher mechanical strength than the separation wall (15).
