HIGH SPEED, HIGH DENSITY ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR WITH SHIELDED SIGNAL PATHS
A modular electrical connector with separately shielded signal conductor pairs. The connector may be assembled from modules, each containing a pair of signal conductors with surrounding partially or fully conductive material. Modules of different sizes may be assembled into wafers, which are then assembled into a connector. Wafers may include lossy material. In some embodiments, shielding members of two mating connectors may each have compliant members along their distal portions, such that, the shielding members engage at points of contact at multiple locations, some of which are adjacent the mating edge of each of the mating shielding members.

HEAT SINK FOR PLUGGABLE MODULE CAGE
In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a housing for receiving pluggable modules, the housing comprising at least one lower opening and at least one upper opening, each of the openings configured to receive one of the pluggable modules, and a heat sink interposed between the lower and upper openings. The heat sink comprises a cross-sectional honeycomb structure defining cooling tubes extending longitudinally between parallel surfaces of the heat sink for dissipating heat from the pluggable modules inserted into the lower and upper openings.
RF CONNECTOR AND COMMUNICATION APPARATUS INCLUDING SAME
A communication apparatus is provided to include an apparatus enclosure that includes a substrate seating surface and at least one or more connection grooves formed on the substrate seating surface, a first printed circuit board disposed on the substrate seating surface, a second printed circuit board disposed on the substrate seating surface on one side of the first printed circuit board, and at least one or more connectors disposed within the connection groove and configured to electrically connect the first printed circuit board and the second printed circuit board.
HIGH SPEED, RUGGEDIZED CONNECTOR
A modular connector with components that can be economically assembled to provide high signal integrity in a harsh environment. The connector includes an insulative housing bounding a mating interface, a conductive housing engaging a rear of the insulative housing and having tubes extending through the rear of the insulative housing to the mating interface, and lead assemblies disposed in respective tubes. The conductive housing has a channel extending from its top to its front. The insulative housing has a top extension extending beyond its rear, and a locking feature extending from its rear into the channel through the front of the conductive housing. A member is disposed in the channel and has opposite ends disposed in the top extension and locking feature of the insulative housing, respectively. Such a configuration prevents relative movement of components within the connector in a harsh environment and therefore provide more consistent signal paths.
Wire harness
A wire harness including a wire and a connector, wherein the connector includes a connector main body that is partially or entirely made of a conductive resin or is partially formed by a conductive portion, a shield that is made of a conductive metal and covers a periphery of the connector main body, and a conductive elastic member that is provided between the connector main body and the shield, a circumference of the wire is covered by a tube, the tube including a heat-shrinkable shielding tube having a conductive portion that is configured to surround the circumference of the wire, and in a state in which the tube is attached to an attachment of the connector main body, the conductive portion of the tube, the connector main body, the conductive elastic member, and the shield are electrically connected to each other.
