Resistor module for a charging inlet assembly
A resistor module includes a resistor module housing having an inner cavity. A proximity contact and a ground contact are received in the inner cavity and held by the resistor module housing. A proximity wire, electrically connected to a proximity terminal of the charging inlet assembly, is electrically connected to the proximity contact. A ground wire, electrically connected to a ground terminal of the charging inlet assembly, is electrically connected to the ground contact. A resistor element is received in the inner cavity and coupled to mating ends of the proximity and ground contacts. The resistor element is electrically connected to the proximity terminal through the proximity wire and the proximity contact and is electrically connected to the ground terminal through the ground wire and the ground contact.
Battery charger with battery state detection
A battery charger and method is disclosed for detecting when a battery has a low state of health while simultaneously charging or maintaining the battery. A battery charger includes a processor; a non-transitory memory device; a power management device to receive an input power and to output a charging current; a pair of electrical conductors to electrically couple with a battery, and a display electrically coupled to the processor. The display being configured to indicate a bad battery indicator when the battery has a low state of health and whether the battery is good to start.
Plug device
The invention relates to a plug device (10) which contains a first plug connector (12) having spring contacts (16), wherein at least one spring contact (16) is provided for the establishing of an electrical connection between a first and a second electrical circuit ground (18a, 18b), and which contains a second plug connector (14) having blade contacts (28), wherein at least one blade contact (28) is provided for the establishing of the connection of the two electrical circuit grounds (18a, 18b). The plug device (10) according to the invention is characterized by an ohmic resistor (34) being provided at least in one partial region (42) at the contact point (30, 40) at which the front end (36, 38) of at least one spring element (24a, 24b, 24c, 26) of a spring contact (16) of the first plug connector (12) is born on a blade contact (28) of the second plug connector (14), the resistor forming a series resistor during the connection of the first electrical circuit ground (18a) to the second electrical circuit ground (18b) between the spring contact (16) and the blade contact (28) in the partial region (42) at the contact point (30, 40).
Arc suppression connector
A circuit includes a connector having first and second mateable portions. Each portion includes at least two terminals configured to mechanically engage at least two terminals of the other portion. The two terminals within the first and second portions are arranged so that as the first and second portions are mated, a first terminal of the first portion and a first terminal of the second portions come into contact before respective second terminals of the first and second portions. The circuit also includes a polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PPTC) device with a first terminal in electrical communication with the first terminal of the first portion and a second terminal in electrical communication with the second terminal of the first portion. A power terminal is in electrical communication with the second terminal of the first portion and is configured to be connected to a power source. A load terminal is in electrical communication with the first and second terminals of the second portion and is configured to be connected to a load.
Electrical terminal block
An electrical terminal block arrangement includes a terminal block with at least one housing having a first insertion opening and a second insertion opening, and a clamping body including a contact metal, a first spring, and a second spring arranged inside the housing; a discharge resistor that includes a plug-in contact, the plug-in contact being plugged in through the first insertion opening of the housing; and a capacitor that includes at least one capacitor wire, the capacitor wire being inserted through the second insertion opening of the housing and being clamped and electrically contacted to the contact metal by the second spring. The plug-in contact of the discharge resistor is clamped and electrically contacted to the contact metal by the first spring.
PLUG DEVICE
A plug device contains a first plug connector having spring contacts, wherein at least one spring contact is provided for the establishing of an electrical connection between a first and a second electrical circuit ground, and contains a second plug connector having blade contacts, wherein at least one blade contact is provided for the establishing of the connection of the two electrical circuit grounds. The plug device has an ohmic resistor provided at least in one partial region at the contact point at which the front end of at least one spring element of a spring contact of the first plug connector is borne on a blade contact of the second plug connector, the resistor forming a series resistor during the connection of the first electrical circuit ground to the second electrical circuit ground between the spring contact and the blade contact in the partial region at the contact point.
Control relay board for railway vehicle
A rail vehicle control relay board includes a main frame, a mother board and a daughter board assembly which are arranged in the main frame, the main frame includes a board face mounting frame and a daughter board mounting frame which protrudes from the board face mounting frame, the mother board is arranged in the board face mounting frame, and multiple daughter board assemblies perpendicular to the mother board are arranged side by side in the daughter board mounting frame, the daughter board assemblies are electrically connected to the mother board, and multiple first connectors configured to perform output outwards are arranged on the mother board. The rail vehicle control relay board has a high strength, and may reduce the daughter board loosening faults, extend a wiring space and increase the number of relays arranged.
Plug connector and component
A plug connector which comprises contact elements that are subdivided into at least one signal contact element and at least one shielding contact element, and a component having an electrical circuit ground. The plug connector and the component are characterized by an ohmic resistance which connects the shielding contact element to the electrical circuit ground. The measure suppresses parasitic oscillations.
Power connector using resistive sensing
There is provided a power connector system for electrically connecting a power source to a device. The power connector comprises a first component and a second component which each have a plurality of electrical contacts disposed on a face thereof. The contacts each include an electrically resistive element having an impedance. When the first and second components are coupled, a logic unit controls enables current flow between the first and second components based on the impedances.
Connector
There is provided a connector connectable to a mating connector that includes a first jack terminal configured to be coupled to a first plug terminal of the mating connector; a second jack terminal configured to be coupled to a second plug terminal of the mating connector; and a third jack terminal configured to be coupled to the second plug terminal of the mating connector, and having a resistor and a capacitor connected in series thereto. Upon the connector being separated from the mating connector, the second jack terminal is separated from the second plug terminal after the third jack terminal is separated from the second plug terminal, and the first jack terminal is separated from the first plug terminal after the second jack terminal is separated from the second plug terminal.
