A battery charger and method is disclosed for detecting when a battery has a low state of health while simultaneously charging or maintaining the battery. A battery charger includes a processor; a non-transitory memory device; a power management device to receive an input power and to output a charging current; a pair of electrical conductors to electrically couple with a battery, and a display electrically coupled to the processor. The display being configured to indicate a bad battery indicator when the battery has a low state of health and whether the battery is good to start.

RESISTOR MODULE FOR A CHARGING INLET ASSEMBLY
A resistor module includes a resistor module housing having an inner cavity. A proximity contact and a ground contact are received in the inner cavity and held by the resistor module housing. A proximity wire, electrically connected to a proximity terminal of the charging inlet assembly, is electrically connected to the proximity contact. A ground wire, electrically connected to a ground terminal of the charging inlet assembly, is electrically connected to the ground contact. A resistor element is received in the inner cavity and coupled to mating ends of the proximity and ground contacts. The resistor element is electrically connected to the proximity terminal through the proximity wire and the proximity contact and is electrically connected to the ground terminal through the ground wire and the ground contact.

The present invention discloses a charging socket lead frame assembly and a charging socket. The charging socket lead frame assembly has a lead frame which has a frame body and an electrical connection structure arranged in the frame body. The lead frame is adapted to be installed in a cavity of a charging socket, and a plurality of terminals of the charging socket are adapted to pass through the frame body. One end of the electrical connection structure is exposed from the frame body to electrically connect with a lead of a temperature sensor. The lead frame is arranged in non-electrical contact with at least one signal terminal of the charging socket. Therefore, the structure of the lead frame can be simplified and the manufacturing difficulty and cost can be reduced.

The present disclosure provides a novel charging connector and an electric vehicle, relates to the technical field of electric vehicle accessories, and solves the technical problems of poor connection stability due to cable connection resistance between a signal terminal and a grounding terminal in the prior art. The novel charging connector comprises a connector body; a grounding terminal and a signal terminal, wherein the grounding terminal and the signal terminal are provided at intervals along the first direction, and are both provided with plug-in parts; a resistor integrated part, wherein resistor integrated part comprises an integrated part body, the integrated part body is provided in the connector body along the second direction perpendicular to the first direction, the integrated part body is provided with a resistor and two elastic contact parts which are connected with the resistor and extend from the integrated part body to the first direction at intervals, and the two elastic contact parts are elastically abutted against the plug-in part on the grounding terminal and the signal terminal, respectively. The present disclosure is used to provide a novel charging connector which can effectively improve the stability of the connection between the signal terminal and the grounding terminal.

A magnetic connector includes a first insulating housing, a printed circuit board, a plurality of magnetic bodies, a plurality of terminals and a second insulating housing. The first insulating housing has a bottom wall, a side wall, a recess being defined between the bottom wall and the side wall. The printed circuit board is received in the recess. The magnetic bodies are mounted to the printed circuit board. The terminals are mounted to the printed circuit board. The second insulating housing is mounted to the top of the first insulating housing and is covered the recess. The magnetic bodies and the terminals are exposed from a top surface of the second insulating housing. As described above, the magnetic bodies are mounted to the printed circuit board, and then the magnetic bodies are magnetized. Hence, manufacture cost of the magnetic connector is saved.
