At least a portion of a seam between the first and second housing members on the side surface is inclined relative to a direction of attaching/detaching to/from the other member, the portion being firstly crossed by the tip portion of the locking piece when removing the connector housing from the other member.

A cover of a circuit board assembly includes a first cover to cover a first surface of a circuit board and a second cover to cover a second surface of the circuit board. A projection portion projects from an inner surface of the first cover. When a complete circuit board assembly is formed by insert-molding using the circuit board assembly as an insert part, the projection portion suppresses deformation of the first cover and the second cover.

The circuit board includes a first group of pads including a plurality of first pads provided on the first surface and connected to central conductors of the electric wires; a second group of pads including a plurality of second pads provided on the first surface, arranged in a first direction parallel to the third surface, and connected to the first pads; a first ground layer provided between the first surface and the second surface, and extending in a second direction parallel to the first surface and perpendicular to the first direction; and a conductive member provided on a side apart from the first group of pads in the second direction with respect to the second group of pads, and connected to the first ground layer. The conductive member is positioned on the first surface side with respect to the first ground layer in a third direction perpendicular to the first surface.

Connector module with internal wireless communication device

A connector module includes a signal interface, a wireless communication module and a connector housing. The signal interface is configured to exchange signals between a cable and a communication unit when the connector module is connected to the communication unit. The wireless communication module is configured to exchange information in a first mode between the communication unit and a wireless terminal when the connector module is connected to the communication unit, and, when the connector module is disconnected from the communication unit, to exchange information in a second between a memory internal to the connector module and the wireless terminal mode. The connector housing contains the signal interface and the wireless communication module.

Composite connector

A composite connector that contributes to an improvement of workability for mating connectors with each other while preventing or reducing an increase in manufacturing cost is provided. A composite connector includes a first module including a first housing in which a first connector is exposed, and a second housing rotatable about the first housing, the second housing including a second connector, and a second module including a third connector, and a third housing including a fourth connector, the third connector being configured to be mated with and connected to the first connector. The composite connector is configured so that the second and fourth connectors are mated with each other in a state in which one of a projection and a recess that is formed in the second housing is mated with the other of the projection and the recess that is formed in the third housing.

An electrical connector includes: an insulating body defining a mating space; and a terminal module assembled to the insulating body and having a circuit board and plural mating terminals mounted on the circuit board, wherein: each of the mating terminals has a contact portion extending obliquely backward, a bending portion bent backward from a front end of the contact portion, a connecting portion extending rearward from a rear end of the bending portion, and a mounting portion vertically extending from a rear end of the connecting portion for mounting on the circuit board; and a front end of the circuit board extends forward into the mating space.
