The connector has a connector housing formed in part by a plurality of walls defining an interior, wherein the central bar is disposed in the interior, and spaced part from each of plurality of walls. The outer housing is disposed about and contains the connector housing, and has a width approximately equal to a width of a housing of the plug. The circuit board is disposed within the housing, and supports a plurality of transformers and/or common-mode chokes. The circuit board provides at least a portion of an electrical connection between the conductive leads and the transformers and/or common mode chokes.

Network cable connector with switch control

Disclosed are network cable connectors with components such as switches, displays, and printed circuit with controllers. The disclosed network cable connector may be connected to a power over Ethernet (POE) power sourcing equipment (PSE). The printed circuit of the cable connector may request power for the display from the PSE. The switch of the cable connector may be operated such that at least one component of the printed circuit is disconnected from the PSE when an external powered device (PD) is connected to the cable connector. Disconnecting components of the printed circuit from the PSE may reduce the interference to the power negotiation between the PSE and external PD.

A connector includes an insulative housing and a circuit board. The insulative housing comprises a housing body, an insertion plate, two side walls and a stopping wall. The housing body has a front end surface, the insertion plate is positioned at a top side of the housing body and protrudes from the front end surface, the two side walls are respectively positioned at a left side and a right side of the housing body and protrudes from the front end surface. The housing body, the insertion plate and the two side walls together form a receiving space. The stopping wall is positioned at a side of the insulating housing opposite to the insertion plate and has a stopping end positioned in front of the front end surface. The circuit board is provided to the housing body and partially protrudes into the receiving space. The stopping end of the stopping wall is stopped by the mating connector, it can prevent the user from improperly inserting the connector in an upside down orientation into the mating connector.

It is aimed to improve anti-vibration performance. A connector includes a case made of metal and including an opening, and a terminal holding member made of synthetic resin for holding terminal fittings, the terminal holding member being integrated with the case while penetrating through the opening. The opening 18 includes a protruding portion protruding inward toward an outer periphery of the terminal holding member. The terminal holding member includes an inclination restricting portion to be held in contact with at least one of an outer surface and an inner surface of the protruding portion. Since the inclination restricting portion is in contact with the protruding portion, the inclination of the terminal holding member with respect to the case is suppressed even if the terminal holding member is subjected to vibration.

Electrical connector having a metallic cover and a coupling piece grounding the metallic cover to an internal printed circuit board

An electrical connector includes: an insulative housing having a recess at an outer surface thereof; plural contacts secured to the insulative housing and each including a securing portion, a front contacting portion, and a rear tail; an internal printed circuit board (PCB) having plural conductive pads connected to the rear tails of the contacts and an auxiliary ground pad; a metallic cover enclosing the insulative housing; and a coupling piece received in the recess of the insulative housing, the coupling piece either connecting the metallic cover to the auxiliary ground pad of the PCB or connecting the metallic cover to a corresponding ground contact of the plurality of contacts or both.

An electric control unit comprising: (a) a plurality of input wires; (b) a connector receiving the plurality of input wires on a first side, the first side of the connector including: (i) a plurality of slots that each receive one of the plurality of wires and (ii) a plurality of prongs having an alternating relationship with the plurality of slots so that the plurality of prongs and the plurality of slots support each of the plurality of input wires; and (c) control circuitry located within the connector and connected to each of the plurality of input wires; and (d) a plurality of output pins located on a second side of the connector that are configured to connect to a thermal element so that the electric control unit assists in powering the thermal element and controlling the thermal element.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION CASSETTE

Provided is an electrical connection cassette with which it is possible to freely expand a device and add functions in accordance with the size of free space. An electrical connection cassette is provided with: a circuit board; and first connection terminals and second connection terminals mounted on the circuit board and having terminal shapes that can be engaged with each other. In a state with a terminal connection direction oriented in a predetermined direction with respect to the circuit board, the first connection terminals are disposed on the side of one main surface of the circuit board, and in a state with a terminal connection direction oriented in a direction parallel to the predetermined direction, the second connection terminals are disposed near the other main surface of the circuit board.

HIGH PERFORMANCE CABLE TERMINATION

A cable assembly comprising a connector with a termination that enables high density and high signal integrity. Shields of cables are terminated to a paddle card via a conductive structure attached to a surface of the paddle card. The signal conductors of the cables are terminated to pads on the paddle card that are exposed within openings of the conductive structure. Such a structure creates a ground structure per cable that provides low insertion loss and low crosstalk, even when multiple cables are aligned side by side and terminated in one or more rows. The cables may be drainless, enabling a large number of cables, such as eight cables, to be packed within the width of a paddle card specified in high density standards such as QSFP-DD or OSFP. The cables may nonetheless have large diameter signal conductors, enabling 2.5 or 3 meter assemblies with less than 17 dB insertion loss.
