A custom outlet module is contained within a housing and has an electric current sensor configured to measure current passing through an electric outlet during a time period, a proximity sensor configured to detect a distance of an object relative to the electric outlet during the time period, a relay switch that can open or close to stop or conduct current through a circuit in the electric outlet in response to a command, and a wireless network interface in communication with the electric current sensor and the proximity sensor, the wireless network interface configured to transmit and receive data from the current sensor and the proximity sensor, to transmit commands to the relay switch, transmit the data to a computing device, and receive commands from the computing device.

Disclosed herein is an adapter and an electronic system. The adapter includes a power cable, a converter arranged on one end of the power cable, and a connector arranged on another end of the power cable and configured to be connected to an electronic device, and the connector includes a connector body formed in a cylindrical shape and an inside of which includes a hollow portion, a first adapter terminal arranged on a circumferential surface of the hollow portion of the connector body, and a second adapter terminal arranged on a circumferential surface of the connector body, and configured to have a power capacity different from a power capacity of the first adapter terminal.

Portable charging is integrated with multi-function electronic device capabilities into a single portable hub package. The hub combines several desirable consumer electronics functions together while at the same time providing a portable reliable power source that can power or charge any device while reducing the carrying weight and complexity of consumer electronics needs. Embodiments include a bi-directional battery, a variety of electrical connection interfaces, and a CPU to coordinate power charging and power distribution to connected devices. Some embodiments may further include other convenient functions including for example, wireless charging, image projection, and software application run-time for applications including media streaming.

A plug-in power adapter is described. The plug-in power adapter may comprise a plug having a plurality of prongs, wherein a first prong of the plurality of prongs is adapted to receive power; a transformer coupled to receive the power from the first prong of the plurality of prongs, wherein the transformer generates a power signal on a power signal line coupled to the transformer; a plurality of contact elements accessible on the plug-in power adapter by a user of the plug-in power adapter; and a wireless communication circuit adapted to receive signals using a wireless communication protocol; wherein a contact element of the plurality of contact elements is adapted to receive a control signal.
TELEPHONE JACK BRACKET AND MASKING DEVICES FOR MOUNTING ON SAME
The present disclosure relates to telephone jack covering systems that advantageously render existing telephone jacks more attractive and useful. The systems disclosed include a novel bracket that allows for existing telephone jacks to be covered with decorative and functional devices. In a preferred embodiment, an existing telephone jack is outfitted with a bracket and covered with a converter device that converts the existing telephone jack into a smart device charging station.

A portable outlet system and method for providing electrical power transmitted from an electrical outlet wirelessly to the portable outlet system for supply to one or more electrical devices connected to the portable outlet system through one or more standard electrical device connectors. The portable outlet system is rechargeable and can optionally include LED lights as well as a handle to facilitate portability. The portable outlet system may include monitors, data receivers and transmitters, and power boosters or relays. The portable outlet system has actuators for power and LED lights and may include an actuator for device synchronizations.

A dual-connector storage system and method for simultaneously providing power and memory access to a computing device are provided. In one embodiment, the storage system comprises a memory, a first connector, a second connector, and a controller. The controller is configured to provide power received from the second connector to a computing device connected with the first connector while also allowing the computing device to access the memory via the first connector. CHARGER
The invention relates to the technical field of chargers, in particular to a charger comprising a plug and a base which are detachably connected. The plug is provided with sliding slots and a clamping piece. The base is provided with sliding rails corresponding to the sliding slots and a clamping plate corresponding to the clamping piece. When the plug is connected to the base, the sliding slots slide in along the sliding rails, and the clamping piece clamps the clamping plate.

Disclosed are a method for estimating a load current of a power supply, and a USB-type converter. The method includes steps described below. After an input port of a USB connection line is connected to the power supply and an output port of the USB connection line is connected to a load, the power supply supplies power to the load through the USB connection line to obtain an initial load current value; an actual voltage value of the input port is detected, when the actual voltage value of the input port is less than a preset voltage value, the initial load current value is adjusted until the actual voltage value of the input port corresponding to an adjusted load current value is not less than the preset voltage value, and the adjusted load current value is output as a load current value of the power supply.

A power adapter configured to apply power to a device is disclosed. The power adapter comprises a contact element configured to receive power; a first outlet configured to receive the power and adapted to provide the power to the device; a recess for receiving a module that is removably coupled to the power adapter, wherein the module is adapted to generate control signals; and a control circuit coupled to the recess; wherein the control circuit controls the application of the power to the first outlet in response to the control signals.
