Cable Gland with Torque Sensor
20230148404 · 2023-05-11 ·

A cable gland includes a hub body having a first end configured for attachment to a structure and a second end opposite the first end. The hub body defines an internal passage. A gland nut is configured for attachment to the second end of the hub body to secure a cable in the cable gland. The gland nut defines an internal passage such that the internal passage of the gland nut communicates with the internal passage of the hub body when the gland nut is attached to the hub body. A torque sensor module is mounted to one of the hub body and the gland nut and configured for measuring and indicating a component of an applied torque as a result of attaching the gland nut to the hub body when securing the cable in the cable gland.

Heat Retarding Arrangement with a Phase Change Material for an Electric Vehicle

A heat retarding arrangement includes a phase change material. The heat retarding arrangement is attachable at or in an electric conductor and passively cools the electric conductor.

ACCESSORY FOR UTILIZATION WITH NON-CONTACT ELECTRICAL DETECTOR

Accessories are removably received by a non-contact electrical detector for measuring an electrical characteristic without galvanic contact between the accessory and a non-contact sensor in the non-contact electrical detector. In some embodiments, an accessory is positioned in a gap between first and second extensions of the non-contact electrical detector. In some embodiments, an accessory includes first and second recesses on opposite sides of the accessory. First and second clamp arms of a non-contact electrical detector are inserted within the first and second recesses to removably hold the accessory. An external conductive prong of the accessory is electrically coupled, or is selectively electrically coupleable, with an internal conductive prong of the accessory. The external conductive prong is configured to be inserted into a receptacle of an electrical outlet. In use, the accessory positions the internal conductive prong within a sensing area of the non-contact electrical sensor of the non-contact electrical detector.

THERMAL PROTECTION PLUG

A thermal protection plug, provides a temperature sensor I, which is directly contact with the neutral wire terminal, so as the heat transferring from neutral wire terminal to the temperature sensor keeps prompt and improve the response delay to cut-off the power switch. And because the negative pole of DC is collinear with the neutral wire terminal, it means that the temperature sensor I can use a low voltage isolation sensor and it is safer even though the breakdown between the shell and the pins of the temperature sensor I.

Connector with integrated thermal cutoff device for battery pack

A temperature-sensitive battery connector is disclosed. The connector can include a connector body and at least one conductor mounted to the connector body and configured to convey a current signal used to measure voltage from a battery pack or battery cell to a battery management system (BMS). The connector can include a thermal switching device mounted to the connector body and thermally coupled to a terminal of a battery pack or a battery cell. The thermal switching device can be configured to provide an overtemperature signal to the BMS by changing or interrupting a current conducted by at least one conductor when a temperature of the battery pack or battery cell exceeds a threshold temperature.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY PLUG
