An electrical power connector includes a connector housing having a receptacle receiving an elongated DC power distribution busbar, a first spring contact element arranged at a first side of the receptacle and pressed with a contact area to a first surface of the elongated DC power distribution busbar, and a second spring contact element pressed to a second surface of the elongated DC power distribution busbar opposite the first surface. The second spring contact element is arranged at a second side of the receptacle opposite to the first side. The power connector includes a temperature sensing device arranged inside the connector housing and monitoring a temperature at the first spring contact element and/or the second spring contact element.

A data cable and a charging device are provided. The data cable includes a type-A interface and a type-C interface. The type-A interface and the type-C interface each includes a VBUS pin, a CC pin, a D+ pin, a D- pin, and a GND pin. A circuit identification module is disposed in the data cable, and the circuit identification module includes a switch circuit, a filtering circuit, a voltage regulator circuit, and a comparator circuit. The switch circuit is connected to a CC pin of the type-C interface, an output end of the voltage regulator circuit, a CC pin of the type-A interface, and an output end of the comparator circuit. Under the control of the comparator circuit, the switch circuit connects the CC pin of the type-C interface to the CC pin of the type-A interface or the output end of the voltage regulator circuit.

ACCESSORY FOR UTILIZATION WITH NON-CONTACT ELECTRICAL DETECTOR

Accessories are removably received by a non-contact electrical detector for measuring an electrical characteristic without galvanic contact between the accessory and a non-contact sensor in the non-contact electrical detector. In some embodiments, an accessory is positioned in a gap between first and second extensions of the non-contact electrical detector. In some embodiments, an accessory includes first and second recesses on opposite sides of the accessory. First and second clamp arms of a non-contact electrical detector are inserted within the first and second recesses to removably hold the accessory. An external conductive prong of the accessory is electrically coupled, or is selectively electrically coupleable, with an internal conductive prong of the accessory. The external conductive prong is configured to be inserted into a receptacle of an electrical outlet. In use, the accessory positions the internal conductive prong within a sensing area of the non-contact electrical sensor of the non-contact electrical detector.

A temperature-sensitive battery connector is disclosed. The connector can include a connector body and at least one conductor mounted to the connector body and configured to convey a current signal used to measure voltage from a battery pack or battery cell to a battery management system (BMS). The connector can include a thermal switching device mounted to the connector body and thermally coupled to a terminal of a battery pack or a battery cell. The thermal switching device can be configured to provide an overtemperature signal to the BMS by changing or interrupting a current conducted by at least one conductor when a temperature of the battery pack or battery cell exceeds a threshold temperature.
