POWER DISTRIBUTION DEVICE
20180337463 · 2018-11-22 ·

It is aimed to realize miniaturization. A power distribution device (Da) is for supplying power to a plurality of loads (L) and includes an input-side conductive path (10) to be connected to a battery (B) (power supply), a plurality of terminal holders (13) each including an input-side terminal fitting (20) connectable to the input-side conductive path (10), and a plurality of output-side conductive paths (37) configured to connect the input-side terminal fittings (20) and the loads (L). Since the number of the terminal holders (13) to be connected to the input-side conductive path (10) is a minimum necessary number corresponding to the number of the loads (L), miniaturization is possible.

Electric circuit jumper with coupling
10135212 · 2018-11-20 ·

An electric circuit jumper having a coupling that electrically connects a first electrical connector and a second electrical connector that are to be connected, respectively, with a first point of electric circuit and a second point of the electric circuit. A first probe, intended to be electrically connected to the first point in the electric circuit, is electrically connected to the first electrical connector and a second probe, intended to be electrically connected to the second point in the electric circuit, is electrically connected to the second electrical connector. The electric circuit is bypassed by electrically jumping from the first point of the electric circuit to the second point of the electric circuit via the first probe, the first electrical connector, the coupling, the second electrical connector, and the second probe.

Electric Connector

An electric connector includes a socket connector, a plug connector having a bar shape for connecting an electric circuit, the plug connector capable of insertion into and removed from the socket connector and to be rotatable between unlocked and locked positions about an axis thereof, a pair of detection terminals opposing across the plug connector, and a conductive member for providing electric conduction between the pair of detection terminals in the locked position of the plug connector. The conductive member includes a pair of pressed pieces arranged between the pair of detection terminals and the plug connector, spaced away from the detection terminals in the unlocked position of the plug connector, but pressed by an outer surface of the plug connector in the locked position of the plug connector to bring contact portions thereof into contact with the detection terminals and a coupling piece coupling the pair of pressed pieces.

Mechanical disconnect switch with integrated fuse protection

A circuit protection assembly (CPA) is disposed between a source of power and a circuit to be protected. The CPA comprises a mounting block having a bore extending therethrough and a recess cavity on a first surface of the mounting block. A post having a first end is disposed within the recess cavity and a body portion extends through the bore. The body portion configured to receive a terminal and the second end configured to receive a securing mechanism. A fuse having a centrally disposed aperture is configured to receive the body portion of the post and to receive the terminal for connection to a circuit to be protected. An insulator disposed on the terminal and disposed beneath the securing mechanism. The insulator configured to isolate the post from the terminal and the fuse while allowing the securing mechanism to apply an amount of torque.

Fuse protected socket having additional attachment points

An electric connector includes a socket connector, a bar-like plug connector to be inserted/withdrawn to/from the socket connector and a fuse. When the plug connector is inserted to the socket connector, electric conduction is established in the electric circuit via the fuse. The fuse is attached to the socket connector.
