Electric Connection Assembly
An electric connection assembly comprises a connector, a first wire, a second wire, and a fuse. The connector has a housing, a first conductive contact disposed in the housing, and a second conductive contact disposed in the housing. The first wire has a first end electrically connected to the first conductive contact and an opposite second end electrically connected to a first electrode of a load. The second wire has a first end electrically connected to the second conductive contact and an opposite second end electrically connected to a second electrode of the load. The fuse is connected in series with the second wire.
CONNECTOR
A connector includes a housing body, a shield shell that externally covers the housing body, a first connection terminal that is housed in the housing body, electrically connected to a first wire in the housing body, and electrically connected to a counterpart terminal when the connector is connected to a counterpart connector, and a circuit protection component that is interposed, in the housing body, between the first connection terminal and the first wire, and connects the first connection terminal and the first wire in series to protect a circuit. The housing body includes at least one thermal conductor that performs thermal conduction with the circuit protection component by being in contact with the circuit protection component.

MECHANICAL DISCONNECT SWITCH WITH INTEGRATED FUSE PROTECTION
A circuit protection assembly (CPA) is disposed between a source of power and a circuit to be protected. The CPA comprises a mounting block having a bore extending therethrough and a recess cavity on a first surface of the mounting block. A post having a first end is disposed within the recess cavity and a body portion extends through the bore. The body portion configured to receive a terminal and the second end configured to receive a securing mechanism. A fuse having a centrally disposed aperture is configured to receive the body portion of the post and to receive the terminal for connection to a circuit to be protected. An insulator disposed on the terminal and disposed beneath the securing mechanism. The insulator configured to isolate the post from the terminal and the fuse while allowing the securing mechanism to apply an amount of torque.
Field installable connector
A connector is disclosed. The connector comprises a housing having an insertion passageway, an operating lever having an end pivotably connected to the housing, and a spring having a first end fixed to the operating lever and an opposite second end extending into an interior of the connector. The operating lever is movable between an open position and a closed position. The second end of the spring closes the insertion passageway when the operating lever is in the closed position.
Insulative fixing plate damaged when overheating as well as a plug and a socket using that insulative fixing plate
An insulative fixing plate damaged when overheating limits two conductive elements from contacting with each other, forming a closed path, when overheating, opening two conductive elements by an elastic force to form an open circuit. Each conductive element has a groove concaved in from an edge, and the groove has a groove width. The insulative fixing plate includes a connecting element and two limiting elements combined at two ends of the connecting element. Each limiting element has a working width larger than the groove width, and a holding space between the two limiting elements contains the two conductive elements, thereby abutting the two limiting elements at an external side of the conductive element respectively and limiting the two conductive elements from contacting with each other. The connecting element is damaged when overheating. The insulative fixing plate is used in overheat protection for a plug or a socket.
Connector terminal, electrical connector, and method for manufacturing connector terminal
A connector terminal includes first and second arm parts, an interconnection part, a first contactor formed of a piece of sheet which is in a bent shape so as to have the first end laid over on a second end of the sheet with reference to a bent part that is an opposite side to a side where the first end of the sheet and the second end thereof are present, and a second contactor formed of a piece of sheet which is in a bent shape so as to have the first end laid over on a second end of the sheet with reference to a bent part that is an opposite side to a side where the first end of the sheet and the second end thereof are located, and the second contactor facing the first contactor.
Fuse-equipped connector
A fuse-equipped connector (1) is configured in combination of a first connector (10) and a second connector (30) which can be assembled to each other in an attachable and detachable state. The first connector (10) includes a first terminal (13) electrically connected to an external apparatus (50) and a connection portion (12a) mechanically connectable to the external apparatus (50). The second connector (30) includes a second terminal (33) electrically connected to the first terminal (13) and a fuse (35) being electrically connected to the second terminal (33). In a state where the first connector (10) and the second connector (30) are assembled with each other, the first terminal (13) and the second terminal (33) are electrically connected to each other.
Shielded connector
The present invention provides a shielded connector that can reduce the entire size thereof while preventing an increase in the number of components. A shielding shell includes a shell body provided to an outer side of a housing, and a thermally conductive holding member that supports an insulating container portion of a fuse, so the heat generated by the fuse is dissipated to outside, thereby reducing the space between the housing and the fuse and reducing the entire size of the shielded connector. Also, the shielding shell functions as both a heat dissipation member and a magnetic shield, thus, an increase in the number of components can be prevented.
