Method and System for Implementing Media Adaptation Device Functionality
Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing customer premises device functionality, and, more particularly, to methods, systems, and apparatuses for implementing media adaptation device functionality. In various embodiment, a rear-facing camera of a media adaptation device might capture a first image of a wall of a customer premises, the wall including an electrical wall outlet into which the media adaptation device is intended to be plugged. The media adaptation device might display, on a front display device disposed on a front face (and in some cases, also on top and/or side display devices on corresponding faces) of the media adaptation device, a second image based on the captured first image of the wall of the customer premises. The media adaptation device might also perform one or more first functions other than display of images or videos, after the media adaptation device has been plugged into the electrical wall outlet.
Rechargeable USB electrical outlet with integrated lighting
An electrical outlet device and system for providing light and power during the night or during a power failure. The device and system includes rechargeable energy storage devices that can be utilized to provide power to the outlet(s) and the light sources. The device and system can have two sections, a main and a removable section both having their own energy storage devices and light sources. The light sources can be controlled by a control circuit that can utilize one or more switches or sensors to control the activation or deactivation of the light sources and also the transfer of energy from the energy storage devices to the light sources or outlets of the main section. The main section can also have USB and electrical outlets or plugs to allow the device and system to be plugged into an AC or DC power source, and can transfer that energy to the USB and electrical outlets or plugs.
ELECTRICAL OUTLET BOX ASSEMBLY
The present invention is directed to an electrical outlet box assembly comprising a mounting plate and a modular outlet box. The modular outlet box houses an electrical device and can be coupled to the mounting plate. The modular outlet box having a first contacts module that connects with a conduit from the main power source. The modular outlet box further comprises a second contacts module having contacts for electrically connecting to the electrical device. A conductor link electrically connects the first contacts module and the second contacts module. A circuit breaker housed in the modular outlet box interrupts the conductor link to regulate the flow of current from the first contacts module to the second contacts module.
SAFETY SWITCH ARRANGEMENT FOR A PERSONAL CARE APPLIANCE
The present disclosure relates to a safety switch arrangement (50) for a power connector of a personal care appliance (30), the arrangement (50) comprising a housing portion (52), a power connector unit (72) comprising a connector receptacle (74), an operating switch (56), and an actuation portion (54), wherein the actuation portion (54) is mounted to the housing portion (52) and arranged to be moved between a first state and a second state, wherein the power connector unit (72) is arranged at the housing portion (52), wherein the actuation portion (54), in the first state, enables an operation of the personal care appliance (30) and prevents a contact with the connector receptacle (74), and wherein the actuation portion (54), in the second state, prevents an operation of the personal care appliance (30) and enables a contact with the connector receptacle (74). The present disclosure further relates to a personal care appliance (30) comprising a safety switch arrangement (50) in accordance with the disclosure.
HIGH VOLTAGE DIAGNOSTIC CONNECTOR WITH SERVICE DISCONNECT
A high voltage diagnostic connector includes a housing holding a positive terminal, a negative terminal and a ground terminal with a cover removably coupled to the housing. An HVIL assembly is in the housing having a HVIL contacts and an HVIL shunt. An HVIL switch is held by the housing including a shunt actuator operably coupled to the HVIL shunt to position the HVIL shunt in an un-shunted position to open an HVIL circuit when in the primary position and in a shunted position to close the HVIL circuit when in the secondary position. The shunt actuator is movable between the primary position and the secondary position when testing the positive terminal, the negative terminal and the ground terminal with the testing device during diagnostic testing of the high voltage diagnostic connector.
BATTERY PACK
A battery pack includes a case, a first set of battery cells and a second set of battery cells received in the case, a circuit board, and a main power output interface. The first set of battery cells and the second set of battery cells can be connected in series or in parallel, and output two kinds of working voltage through the main power output interface. The battery pack further includes an extended power output interface and a switch provided between the first set of battery cells and the second set of battery cells. The battery pack can output a third voltage for an external device through the extended power output interface when the first set of battery cells and the second set of battery cells are connected in series through the switch. It's safe and reliable when charging the external device.
Charging gun with magnetic element controlling magnetic switch
A charging gun includes a housing provided with a receiving cavity, a latching member movably assembled at a periphery of the housing, a circuit module mounted in the receiving cavity, and a waterproof and air-permeable assembly. The circuit module includes a magnetic switch. A mounting recess into which the latching member is mounted is provided at the periphery of the housing, and the latching member is rotatable about a rotation shaft in the mounting recess. The latching member is provided with a magnetic element, a state of the magnetic switch is controlled by a change of a relative distance between the magnetic element and the magnetic switch with rotation of the latching member. A mounting hole communicating with the receiving cavity is provided in a bottom surface of the mounting recess. The waterproof and air-permeable assembly is mounted in the mounting hole to discharge heat in the receiving cavity.
Apparatus for emergency disconnection of battery charge inlet of electric vehicle
An apparatus for emergency disconnection of a battery charge inlet of an electric vehicle may include a case; a handle mounted in the case, and rotatable by partially exposing through a groove formed at one side of the case; and an emergency disconnection cable having one side connected to the handle, and having the other side connected to an emergency disconnection lever provided in an inlet actuator mounted on the inlet for charging an electric vehicle.
