MAGNETIC CABLE CONNECTION DEVICE AND ADAPATOR
A cable connection device includes a cable connector and a magnetic switch. The magnetic switch includes diametrically magnetized first and second annular magnets juxtaposed in a longitudinal direction of the cable connector and extending around a longitudinal axis of the cable connector, and an annular magnetic guide of ferromagnetic material surrounding an outer periphery of the first and second annular magnets. The first annular magnet is fixed relative to the annular magnetic guide, and the second annular magnet is rotatable between ON and OFF positions relative to the annular magnetic guide. In the ON position the first and second annular magnets are magnetically aligned in the longitudinal direction, and in the OFF position the first and second annular magnets are magnetically inverted in the longitudinal direction.
Switched Power over Ethernet Connector
An arc prevention system including a jack having a receptacle, a modular connector sized to be positioned in the receptacle of the jack, the modular connector including a plurality of contacts, with at least two of the contacts creating an energized electrical path with an external power source in electrical communication with the external power source, a latch extending from a top surface of the modular connector, a switching unit positioned on the latch, a plug unit positioned between the latch and the jack that prevents the modular connector from moving out of the receptacle, a control circuit in electrical communication with switch and the at least two energized contacts, where the electrical path between the control circuit and the switching unit is energized when the plug engages the switching unit on the latch, and the control circuit adjusts the energized electrical path to a predetermined electrical level.
Mechanical interlock with enhanced features
An improved mechanical interlock including one or more features to facilitate a more robust design, easier assembly, and/or enhanced capabilities. For example, the mechanical interlock may include an interlock latch operatively associated with an external handle assembly and an internal connector. The interlock latch being directly coupled to a shaft coupled to the handle assembly, thus providing an improved and more robust latching mechanism. The mechanical interlock may also include one or more keys (e.g., a Poke-Yoke feature) to facilitate easier assembly and/or to prevent human errors caused by improper assembly. The mechanical interlock may also include an integrated magnetic switch and monitoring system to ensure that accurate location of the handle assembly is known.
LEAKAGE PROTECTOR
Disclosed herein is a leakage protector, which includes a housing. A base plate and a brush are arranged in the housing. A first conducting strip and a second conducting strip spaced apart are arranged on the base plate. The brush is provided with contact pins to contact the first conducting strip and the second conducting strip, respectively. The second conducting strip can generate different analog voltages, and the first conducting strip is configured to transmit different analog voltages to a microprocessor. A user can drive the brush to move through an actuating part, and set the power-on time of the leakage protector in one step.
UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS DEVICE
A USB device includes a base, a circuit board disposed on the base and having front-end and rear-end portions and a ground circuitry, an upper cover, solder points, a switch and a button mount. The rear-end portion is used for inserting into a connection port of a computer terminal. The upper cover covers the front-end portion and has an opening. The solder points are formed on the front-end portion and coupled to the ground circuitry. The switch having a metal cover is soldered to the solder points for controlling wireless connection between the computer terminal and an external device. The button mount is movably disposed through the opening and sleeves the front-end portion for triggering the switch. An electrostatic discharge entering from the opening can pass through a first guide hole of the button mount and is conducted to the ground circuitry via the metal cover and the solder point.
Receptacle connector for detecting connection states
A receptacle connector includes a receptacle including an insertion port into which a plug is inserted, a lid configured to open and close the insertion port and maintain, while the plug is inserted into the insertion port, a state in which the lid is opened by the plug, and a switch configured to change over according to the opening and closing of the lid.
Power cable assembly
A power cable assembly includes a lamp that has a base. A power cord extends outwardly from the base and the power cord is electrically coupled to a power source comprising a female electrical outlet. A housing is provided and the power cord extends through the housing. The housing has a first power port and a second power port. Each of the first power port and the second power port is in electrical communication with the power cord. A surge protector is positioned within the housing to protect the power cord, the first power port and the second power port from electrical surges. Each of the first power port and the second power port can supply electrical power for an electronic device.
LEVER-TYPE CONNECTOR
A lever-type connector including a female terminal, a female housing, a contact pressure applying member attached to the female housing from a front side in a fitting direction and can be moved between a low contact pressure position at which the female terminal is brought into contact with a male terminal with low contact pressure and a high contact pressure position that is located on a rear side in the fitting direction with respect to the low contact pressure position and at which the female terminal is brought into contact with the male terminal with high contact pressure due to application of contact pressure to the female terminal. A lever is movably attached to the female housing to move the contact pressure applying member from the low to the high position after the completion of fitting.
