The first connector has at least one first connector conductor element, and the system further includes a battery within the sealed enclosure, and the system also has a second connector, wherein when the first connector and the second connector are connected together, electrical power from the battery is applied to the electrical component, and when the first connector and the second connector are not connected together, the electrical power is not applied to the electrical component.

Automated capture of information about fixed cabling

One embodiment is directed to detecting that a cable has been connected to a port of patching equipment and detecting that the cable is no longer connected to said port. In response to detecting that the cable is no longer connected, information associated with fixed cabling coupled to said port that is captured by a cable tester is downloaded to a controller. The downloaded information is associated with said port and the downloaded information and association information is locally stored at the controller. The locally stored information can then be used to create and/or populate objects in a database. Another embodiment is directed to including a storage device and a wireless interface in patching equipment or other equipment such as an outlet or consolidation point for use in writing information to the storage device and reading information from the storage device via the wireless interface. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Wireless power feeding device

A wireless power feeding device includes an attachment member having a socket to be electrically connected to a power supply and a fastener to be electrically connected to a ground, and a band having a socket pin to be inserted to the socket and a locking tool to be locked to the fastener, the band being attached to the attachment member and fixing a power receiving device to which power is to be wirelessly fed to the attachment member, wherein the socket pin has a power feeding electrode to be electrically connected to the power supply within the socket, and a ground connection sensing electrode to be electrically connected to the ground via the locking tool and the fastener, and the attachment member has a switch circuit electrically connecting the power supply to the power feeding electrode only when the ground connection sensing electrode is electrically connected to the ground.

Security connector

In one example, a connector assembly for providing security to an article of merchandise is provided. The connector assembly includes a cord having a plurality of conductors and a body portion connected to the cord. The connector assembly also includes a connection portion engaged with the body portion and including a plurality of engagement members. Each of the engagement members is electrically connected to a respective conductor in the cord, and the connection portion is configured to engage the article of merchandise to thereby electrically connect the engagement members to one another for establishing a sense loop through the conductors in the cord. Interruption of the sense loop is indicative of a security event.

Connector and Connector Assembly

The present invention discloses a connector and a connector assembly. The connector has a housing and a terminal position holder detachably mounted on an end of the housing. A mating feature adapted to mate with a corresponding mating connector is formed on the terminal position holder, so that the connector is adapted to mate with the corresponding mating connector. In the present invention, when it is necessary to change the identification feature on the connector, only the terminal position holder needs to be replaced without replacing the whole housing. Therefore, the cost is low and the use is very convenient.
