An electrical connector assembly includes a first electrical contact device and a second electrical contact device. The first electrical contact device includes a plurality of conductors. The second electrical contact device includes a first portion, a second portion movable in a rotational and translational manner relative to the first portion, and an actuator movable between a first position and a second position. The first portion includes first electrical contacts, and the second portion includes electrical sockets. Each socket receives an associated conductor and includes a second electrical contact aligned with an associated first electrical contact. The second portion is biased away from the first portion. When the actuator is in the first position, the actuator inhibits translational movement of the second portion toward the first portion. When the actuator is in the second position, the second portion is movable toward the first portion to permit the second electrical contacts to engage the first electrical contacts.

Direct current connector, alternating current/direct current input device, and alternating current/direct current input system

An alternating current/direct current input device includes an appliance input socket and an information and communications technology (ICT) device. The ICT device is powered by the appliance input socket. The appliance input socket includes a ground contact, a positive electrode contact, a negative electrode contact, and a signal switch. A contact depth of the signal switch in the appliance input socket is less than a contact depth of the positive electrode contact or the negative electrode contact in the appliance input socket. The signal switch is configured to generate a control signal when a direct current connector is separated from the appliance input socket. The control signal can be used to enable the ICT device to disconnect the appliance input socket from a conductive electrode of the direct current connector after the ICT device enters a no load state.

Plug Connection Having Redundancy and Vehicle Having Such a Connection

A plug connection has a plug socket and a plug which can be releasably inserted therein, as well as a plurality of electrically conductive contact areas and spring contacts. The spring contacts are divided into a first group and a second group. In a first state, the spring contacts of the first group are in contact with their associated contact areas and the spring contacts of the second groups rest on at least one stop and are not in contact with their associated contact areas. A trigger causes the spring contacts of the second group to overcome the at least one stop when a defined temperature is exceeded so as to come into contact with their associated contact areas in a second state.

Socket plastic hardware structure device

An extension lead with a conductive piece in a first socket of the extension lead is provided separately from a conductive part connected to a power cord connection piece. A rotating part for driving the conductive piece or the conductive part to move to and contact with the other of the conductive piece or the conductive part is further provided. When a male tab of the plug is inserted into the first socket, the male tab pushes the rotating part to rotate, and drives the conductive piece or the conductive part to move to and contact with the other of the conductive piece or the conductive part, and the circuit is turned on at this time. When the male tab is pulled out from the first socket, the conductive piece and the conductive part return to their original positions, and the conductive piece is not charged at this time.
