Electrical connector system
An electrical connector system can comprise a first connector and a second connector. The first connector can include a first threaded coupling feature defining a first axis. The first connector can also include a first electrical contact with a first contact surface having an annular configuration centered on the first axis by a radius. The second connector can include a second threaded coupling feature defining a second axis. The second connector can also include a second electrical contact with a second contact surface offset from the second axis by the radius. The first and second threaded coupling features can be operable to engage one another to couple the first and second connectors to one another such that the first and second axes are aligned, thereby facilitating contact or separation of the first and second contact surfaces upon relative rotation of the first and second connectors.
Plug connection having redundancy and vehicle having such a connection
A plug connection has a plug socket and a plug which can be releasably inserted therein, as well as a plurality of electrically conductive contact areas and spring contacts. The spring contacts are divided into a first group and a second group. In a first state, the spring contacts of the first group are in contact with their associated contact areas and the spring contacts of the second groups rest on at least one stop and are not in contact with their associated contact areas. A trigger causes the spring contacts of the second group to overcome the at least one stop when a defined temperature is exceeded so as to come into contact with their associated contact areas in a second state.

Plug-in connection
A plug-in connection for the transmission of electric current having a male connector and a female connector, wherein the male connector includes a plug-in extension having electrical contacts, and the female connector includes a plug-in extension receptacle having electrical mating contacts, and at least one projection is arranged on one jacket wall, and the other of these jacket walls incorporates at least one receptacle slot which matches the projection. The plug-in extension, with the projection and the receptacle slot in an undamaged state, can only be inserted into the plug-in extension receptacle from an unambiguously defined plug-in position. The male connector, in the plug-in extension interior, additionally incorporates at least one moulding, and the female connector, in the plug-in extension receptacle interior, additionally incorporates at least one mating moulding, and the moulding and the mating moulding, in combination, constitute a stop mechanism for the prevention of any electrical contacting of the electrical contacts with the electrical mating contacts.
Electrical connector and electrical connector assembly
An electrical connector includes a conductive housing having a first receiving portion with an open end, a movable terminal having a first end inserted into the first receiving portion via the open end, the movable terminal having a second receiving portion, and a first elastic piece located in a space defined by the first receiving portion and the second receiving portion. A second end of the movable terminal opposite to the first end protrudes movably out of the first receiving portion against an elasticity of the first elastic piece. The first end of the movable terminal has a first elastic arm elastically abutting an inner side wall of the first receiving portion. The movable terminal is electrically connected to the conductive housing by each of the first elastic piece and the first elastic arm.
Electrical connector assembly with shielding shells surrounding each of first and second connectors
In a connector assembly in which a first connector and a second connector are fitted to each other, a first shell, which has a rectangular frame-like shape and serves as an outer shell of the first connector, includes curved portions on upper ends of respective sides of the rectangle, and a second shell, which has a rectangular frame-like shape and serves as an outer shell of the second connector, includes convex portions, which are elongated along respective sides to be slender, on outer surfaces on the sides of the rectangle. The curved portions and the convex portions are positioned so that the curved portions and the convex portions are partially overlapped with each other. The convex portions are in contact with the first shell through the entire lengths, and the curved portions are in contact with the second shell through the entire lengths.
Connector
A connector includes: a first connector including a first main terminal; a second connector including a second main terminal and a boss having a protruding shape; and a fitting detection circuit configured to detect fitting of the first connector and the second connector. The first connector further includes a rotatable lever used for a fitting operation to the second connector and a fitting disengagement operation from the second connector. The lever includes a lock configured to lock, when the lock contacts the boss in the fitting disengagement operation, a rotation of the lever in a state where the fitting is not detected by the fitting detection circuit and also in a state where the first main terminal and the second main terminal are connected.
