Replaceable socket device
A replaceable socket device includes adapters and a base. Each of the adapters include a jack and contacts disposed on a bottom of the adapters. The base includes sockets, an adapting interface disposed on the socket, and a coupling interface coupled to the adapting interface and an external power source. Each socket includes a bottom surface and a sidewall perpendicularly connected to the bottom surface. One of the adapters inserts in the socket via an opening formed by the bottom surface and the sidewall. The adapting interface is utilized to connect the socket and one of the adapters. The coupling interface is configured to conduct electrical signal from the external power source to the adapting interface. The structure of the adapting interface is used for allowing one of adapters to couple to the socket via the adapting interface. The adapting interface is lower than the bottom surface of the socket.
Insertion detection device for plug pins and a safety socket
An insertion detection device for plug pins in a socket and a safety socket. A connecting rod trigger assembly of the insertion detection device forms a linkage structure with a first elastic conductive connector. When the connecting rod trigger assembly moves from the conduction section to the disconnection section, it can ensure that the first elastic conductive connector and the second conductive connector are disconnected. Even if the first elastic conductive connector is deformed due to prolonged insertion of plug, it can be separated from the second conductive connector by moving the connecting rod trigger assembly, and its internal circuit is always in disconnected state. At least three insertion detection devices of the safety socket correspond to two pins of live wire and neutral wire.

Device and method of ensuring power delivery in universal serial bus interface
A method of ensuring power delivery in a universal serial bus (USB) interface between a device and a counterpart device, the device including a port controller and a USB receptacle. The method includes the port controller attempting to detect an abnormal state in which a leakage current occurs in the USB receptacle using at least one pin of the USB receptacle; and when the abnormal state is detected, the port controller turning OFF a switch connected between a power pin of the USB receptacle and an internal circuit of the device, and determining to enter an unattached state of being separated from the counterpart device.
Ground fault circuit interrupters and connectors for use with same
A connector for use with a GFCI receptacle is provided. The connector includes a body, a latch configured to couple the body to the GFCI receptacle, a first blade supported by and extending from the body, a second blade supported by and extending from the body, wherein when the body is coupled to the GFCI receptacle, the first blade is received by a first mating terminal of the GFCI receptacle and the second blade is received by a second mating terminal of the GFCI receptacle to electrically couple the receptacle to a downstream device.
MODULAR POWER SOURCE
A modular power source comprises a middle block having a housing, comprising a connector for receiving power from a supply of electricity, and at least one electrical socket on a face of the middle block, at least one wing assembly, comprising at least one connector on a face of the wing assembly, the connector configured to form an electrical connection between the wing assembly and the inner block, and at least one controllable electrical socket, and at least one computing device configured to connect or disconnect the at least one controllable electrical socket from the power source, wherein the at least one wing assembly is configured to rotate about an axis with respect to the middle block when electrically connected to the middle block via the electrical connection.
