A light pipe is for an EV charging handle. The EV charging handle includes a housing having a thru hole, and a light source coupled to the housing. The light pipe includes a body structured to be coupled to the light source in order to transmit light from the light source through the thru hole of the housing, the body having a first side portion having a first interior surface having a first surface roughness, and a second side portion extending from the first side portion, the second side portion having a second interior surface having a second surface roughness greater than the first surface roughness in order to increase a visibility range with which the light is transmitted through the thru hole of the housing.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to an electrical connection apparatus provided on a substrate, comprising a base, a flexible circuit board, two connectors, and a fixing member. The flexible circuit board has a mating portion with a plurality of soldering pads; a mounting portion with a plurality of conductive blocks; and a plurality of conductive traces connecting the plurality of pads and the plurality of conductive blocks. The two connectors each have an insulative housing and a terminal. Each terminal has a soldering portion connected to the soldering pad. The substrate has a plurality of soldering pads connecting the conductive blocks. The fixing member fixes the base to the substrate. The present disclosure utilizes a ground layer of the flexible circuit board to reduce a signal crosstalk between the conductive traces, and utilizes the conductive blocks to connect the flexible circuit board and the substrate to improve coplanarity.
Connector with front side identification ring communicatively coupled with rear side LED
An electrical connector includes an insulative housing having a main body defining a plurality of mating cavities each coupled with an LED located right behind the mating cavity. A plurality of contacts are disposed in the housing corresponding to each of the mating cavities. A translucent color ring is assembled upon a front face of the main body of the housing in front of each mating cavity. A holder is attached upon a rear face of the housing behind the contacts. The LEDs and the corresponding connecting legs are retained by the holder.
Connector having PCB with thereof LED communicatively coupled with identification ring
A printed circuit board is vertically attached upon a rear side of the main body with a terminal module assembled on the bottom edge. A plurality of LEDs are mounted upon the printed circuit board wherein all LEDs are electrically connected to the terminal module having connecting legs.
Connector assembly and associated heat sink housing for use in a radio unit
A connector assembly and heat sink configured to be received by a radio unit are provided. An example connector assembly includes a printed wiring board (PWB) at least partially disposed within the radio unit when in an operational configuration, and the PWB defines an extension at least partially disposed exterior to the radio unit when in the operational configuration. The connector assembly includes one or more optoelectronic components configured to convert between optical signals and electrical signals supported by the PWB, and at least a portion of the one or more optoelectronic components are disposed on the extension of the PWB. The connector assembly also includes a heat sink housing attached to the PWB that encloses the extension of the PWB and optoelectronic components disposed on the extension in order to dissipate heat from the optoelectronic components to an exterior environment of the connector assembly.
Traceable end point cable assembly
A traceable cable assembly includes a traceable cable having at least one data transmission element, a jacket at least partially surrounding the data transmission element, and first and second tracing optical fibers extending along at least a portion of a length of the traceable cable. The traceable cable assembly also includes a connector provided at each end of the traceable cable. The first and second tracing optical fibers each have a light launch end and a light emission end. The light launch ends of the first and second tracing optical fibers each include a bend. The bend allows for launching of light into the light launch ends without disengaging the first or second connectors from corresponding connector receptacles.
