Terminal connection device having light source module
Provided is a terminal connection device having a light source module that is installed at a front panel terminal for a vehicle and is capable of emitting light around the terminal, the terminal connection device including: a housing having an inner space and an opening part; a terminal part having a printed circuit board located at an inner side of the housing, and a terminal mounted to the printed circuit board; a housing cover sealing the opening part of the housing and protecting the terminal part; an LED light source mounted to the printed circuit board and adopted to radiate light to the housing cover; and a border lighting part located at the housing cover and arranged to face an edge of one end of the terminal, the border light part protruding from one surface of the housing cover.
Connector insert having a cable crimp portion with protrusions and a receptacle having a label in the front
A magnetic connector system having a durable and reliable construction and a reduced height while maintaining sufficient holding strength. A connector insert may utilize a crimping piece to crimp a braiding of a cable. The crimping piece may be fixed to an attraction plate and a board in the insert for mechanical reliability. Retention clips may be used to fix a shell to the attraction plate. A connector receptacle may employ a magnetically conductive label to improve holding strength.
Multipurpose Electrical Power Block
A power cord with an integrated socket box located between its plug and connector has many advantages, especially in the construction industry. Power tools can be manufactured with this power cord so that one need not look for an extension cord when he is seeking to use a secondary tool. This power cord also allows for multiple parties to work from a single power source.
In some embodiments, the power cord is an integral part of the electrical device, such as a power tool. In other embodiments, the power cord is permanently attached to the existing electrical device. In some cases, a securing sheathe made of heat shrinking tubing is used to attach the power cord to the electrical device.
In some embodiments, the integrated socket box can have more than one socket. In at least one embodiment the integrated socket box has a ground fault interrupter.
ILLUMINATED PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARDS FOR CONNECTORS
Connectors that may provide illumination at an opening in order to facilitate the mating to a corresponding connector by a user. The illumination may be generated on a tongue of a connector insert or in a connector receptacle. For connector receptacles, illumination may be guided to illuminate an opening of the connector receptacle, it may be guided out of a front edge of a tongue in the connector receptacle, or it may be guided in other directions. For connector inserts, illumination may be out of a front edge or sides of a tongue in the connector insert, or it may be guided in other directions. The illumination may be colored or patterned to convey information to a user. Other examples may include a connector system having a connector insert with a light guide to provide illumination from a connector receptacle to an opening in the connector insert where it may be viewed by a user. In other examples, other types of data, such as authentication or identification data, may be optically transmitted either to or through a connector insert inserted in the connector receptacle.
Connector and connector assembly
A connector assembly is disclosed having a circuit board with a side edge; one or more light emitting devices connected to the side edge of the circuit; and a connector. The connector has a support frame, and one or more light guide assemblies positioned on the support frame adjacent to the side edge of the circuit board.
Caged electrical connector assemblies having indicator lights
An electrical connector assembly includes a cage member having a plurality of walls defining a port configured to receive a pluggable module therein through a front end of the cage member. The port extends to a rear end of the cage member. The walls are manufactured from a conductive material and provide electrical shielding. A communication connector is disposed within the cage member and is positioned at the rear end of the cage member to mate with the pluggable module when the pluggable module is inserted into the port. The communication connector has a mating face being forward facing. A communication connector light pipe is mounted to the communication connector and provided at the mating face. The communication connector light pipe has an emitting face emitting light into the pluggable module.
Communications cable with status indicator for electronic devices
An electronic device system can include an electronic device. The electronic device can include a receptacle, and a device logic driving status unit configured to generate a status signal indicating activity of the electronic device, and a communications cable. The communications cable can include a first plug configured to connect to the receptacle and receive the status signal, wherein the first plug includes a status indicator configured to indicate activity of the electronic device based on the status signal.
ACTIVITY DIODES AND REFLECTIVE HOUSINGS
A network card or the like with two or more connectors having reflecting sides, where a light emitter is positioned between or behind the connectors and emit light toward the reflecting sides which act as a wave guide and guide the light to an opening between the connectors and toward the surroundings.
THERMALLY EFFICIENT CONNECTOR SYSTEM
A connector assembly can be provided. A receptacle includes terminals that can be positioned in a card slot on a 0.60 mm pitch (or greater). A biasing element can be provided in the card slot to engage a mating paddle card. The receptacle can be configured to allow air to flow from a front face to a rear face, the air passing through a middle wall. A plug assembly can be provided that includes a conductive body and is configured to generate some amount of heat. The body can include a surface that has cooling grooves. The cooling grooves allow air flow over the plug assembly so that the plug assembly can be cooled directly.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A connector assembly includes a guiding shield cage, a side cover plate, a light guide member and a first assembling construction. The guiding shield cage includes a side wall. The side cover plate is assembled to the side wall of the guiding shield cage. The light guide member includes a plurality of light guiding pipes. Each light guiding pipe has a light inputting end and a light outputting end. The first assembling construction is provided between the light guide member and the side cover plate, and is used to assemble the light guide member on the side cover plate. The first assembling construction includes an interference cooperating construction and an elastic latching construction. By that the light guide member and the side cover plate are provided therebetween with the first assembling construction which allows the light guide member and the side cover plate to cooperate with each other, the light guide member is capable of being stably and indeed fixed on the side cover plate.
