A chassis connector comprises a housing with an insertion opening (2) for a complementary cable connector, a contact carrier inserted in the housing (1) or formed therein, electrical or optical contacts fixed in the contact carrier, and a front plate which is arranged on the front side of the housing and which, together with an annular ridge extending along at least a part of the circumference of the insertion opening, forms the front end and the outer delimitation of the insertion opening. The front plate is made of a light-dispersing or light-conducting material and has at least one coupling surface for light from an external light source.

Illuminated charging connector or device and electronic device or system operable based on packaging status
11728596 · 2023-08-15 · ·

An illuminable electronic connector for facilitating connection with an electronic device has an illumination circuit with at least one illumination source, and an on-board power source for supplying power to the illumination source in at least some modes of operation. The connector may be configured to adjust brightness of the illumination source based on ambient light conditions using an on-board light sensor. A touch sensing input may also be provided to operate the illumination source. The connector may be further operable to enter a sleep mode when it enters a shipping phase of a supply chain and then to automatically activate the illumination source when it is unpackaged at the end of the shipping phase. An electronic device including an electronic visual interface, such as a mobile phone, may be also operated in a similar manner based on the phase of the device within a supply chain.

A cable includes a transmission line and a connector disposed on at least one end of the transmission line. The connector includes a housing to which the transmission line is connected and a terminal group that protrudes in a specific direction different from a direction parallel to a longest side of the housing. The terminal group is a terminal group for board-to-board connection.

ANTI-CROSS-LIGHTING STRUCTURE

The present disclosure discloses an anti-cross-lighting structure. The anti-cross-lighting structure includes a support frame, a plurality of light-guiding elements located beside the support frame, and a shielding piece mounted on the support frame. The light-guiding elements are arranged on a same side of the support frame and forms at least one group. The shielding piece wraps over the light-guiding elements. The shielding piece includes a number of middle blocking portions. Each middle blocking portion isolates the light-guiding elements which are adjacent to each other. The anti-cross-lighting structure of the present disclosure effectively avoids the cross-lighting phenomenon and also has a stable structure.

Interconnection system

An electrical receptacle connector is mounted within a metallic cage for mating with a QSFP module received within the cage. The contacts of the cable receptacle connector are arranged with two groups, of which one are connected to the printed circuit board on which the cage is mounted, and the other are connected to the wires which are further connected to a board-mount receptacle connector mounted on another printed circuit board on which the CPU (Central Processing Unit) socket is mounted. Each board-mount receptacle connector corresponds to more than one cable receptacle connector.

Light guide receptacle for mounting a plurality of light guides
