BLIND PLUG, DATA TRANSMISSION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INDICATING A POWER SUPPLY CAPABILITY
A blind plug, in particular an RJ45 blind plug, includes at least one data plug unit, which is configured for a connection to a counter data plug unit, in particular an RJ45 plug socket, wherein the data plug unit includes an output unit, which is configured to indicate a power supply capability of the counter data plug unit.
ELECTRICAL CONTACT DEVICE WITH INTERLOCK
An electrical connector assembly includes a first electrical contact device and a second electrical contact device. The first electrical contact device includes at least one first electrical contact and an actuator movable between a first position and a second position. The second electrical contact device includes at least one second electrical contact device and an interlock feature to engage the actuator when the actuator is in the first position. The actuator is in the first position when the first electrical contact is in electrical communication with a power source, and the actuator is in the second position when the electrical communication between the first electrical contact and the power source is disconnected. When the actuator is in the first position and the second electrical contact engage the first electrical contact, the interlock feature engages the actuator, thereby securing the first electrical contact device and the second electrical contact device against disconnection.
BYPASS SWITCH DEVICE WITH INDICATING FUNCTION, ETHERNET NETWORK MODULE AND NETWORK APPLIANCE
A bypass switch device with indicating function is disclosed. The bypass switch device is for use in a network appliance having at least one Ethernet network module, and comprises N switch units and a microcontroller. The microcontroller is configured to change the switching state of at least two said switch units in case the Ethernet network module fails to work normally, such that at least two RJ45 connectors directly communicate with each other through at least two said switch units. In such case, the microcontroller simultaneously controls one of two LED components included by one said RJ45 connector and one of two LED components included by another one said RJ45 connector, such that the two LED components emit lights for indicating that the Ethernet network module is working in a bypass mode.
CABLE AND IMAGE TRANSMISSION SYSTEM
A cable includes a transmission line and a connector disposed on at least one end of the transmission line. The connector includes a housing to which the transmission line is connected and a terminal group that protrudes in a specific direction different from a direction parallel to a longest side of the housing. The terminal group is a terminal group for board-to-board connection.
BATTERY ADAPTER
An adapter that is a lightweight and portable passive device with circuitry that converts voltage and current from a first type of battery into usable voltage and current for a second type of battery. The second type of battery is the battery that powers a USB device, such as a cellular telephone. The first type of battery may be any type of battery, such as a radio battery. The adapter is pocket-sized and robust for portability and long-term use.
RELOCATABLE POWER TAP HAVING INTEGRATED CURRENT MONITOR
A medical electrical equipment power tap has multiple sockets and a power cord with a maximum current rating. The power tap includes a display to indicate information related to an instantaneous current draw of the power tap. The power tap also includes an electrical circuit which determines whether the instantaneous current draw exceeds a predetermined maximum allowed current which is less than the maximum current rating. The display provides a visual indication when the power tap's current draw exceeds the maximum allowed value, signifying that at least one item of medical electrical equipment should be unplugged from the power tap. The electrical circuit includes a current loop which passes through a structural portion of the power tap's housing for independently gauging the instantaneous current draw using a clamp probe.
Charging station and connector therefor, and method of charging an electric vehicle with a charging station
A connector is for a charging station. The charging station has a charging box having a signaling mechanism. The connector includes an electrical receptacle structured to be electrically connected to the signaling mechanism; a housing coupled to the electrical receptacle; an indicating assembly coupled to the interior of the housing and structured to indicate a charging status state provided by the signaling mechanism; and an interface between the indicating assembly and the signaling mechanism in order to energize the indicating assembly and provide an indication of charging status.
Electrical connector having fuse holder
The industrial electrical connector is composed of an upper housing portion for holding a conductor and a lower housing portion for holding at least one contact carrier, which lower housing portion can be releasably connected to the upper housing portion. The contact carrier holds at least one contact. The contact is intended to establish a connection to a corresponding mating contact for the transfer of at least electrical energy and/or electrical signals/data. At least one fuse holder for holding at least one electrical fuse is arranged within the industrial electrical connector.
Grounded socket and method for insulation fault location in an ungrounded power supply system including insulation monitoring
A grounded socket and a method for insulation fault location in an ungrounded power supply system including insulation monitoring by a standard insulation monitoring device superimposing a measuring voltage on the ungrounded power supply system for determining an insulation resistance of the ungrounded power supply system. The grounded socket includes a housing having electrical contacts, a signaling device for signaling an insulation state, and a current measuring device for detecting and evaluating a differential current, the current measuring device having a measuring current transformer and evaluating electronics, and the current measuring device being configured for high-resolution detection and evaluation of a measuring current driven by the measuring voltage as a differential measuring current.
Power distribution unit, power outlet modules with secure socket-and-plug connection
A power distribution unit includes a housing; a plurality of power outlet modules accommodated in the housing, at least one of the power outlet modules including a socket having at least three electrical terminals which are configured to connect with one power cord plug of various types of power cord plugs, including a C14 plug and a C20 plug, and a sliding cover having a central opening, the sliding cover being slidable on an outer casing of the socket and engageable with the power cord plug when the power cord plug is completely inserted into the socket, thereby providing a secure connection between the socket and the power cord plug; and at least one power input module providing power to the power outlet modules.
