A connector includes: an outer housing that includes an inserting part having a tubular shape, and is fixed to a first surface of a wall part in a state in which the inserting part is inserted into a hole part of the wall part; and an inner housing including a main body that is inserted into the hole part from a second surface side to be engaged with the outer housing, and a projecting part projecting from the main body. The projecting part projects from the main body toward a rear side in an insertion direction with respect to the hole part, and is configured such that a rear end surface of the projecting part is located to be flush with the second surface when the main body is completely engaged with the outer housing.

The present disclosure provides a fastener for supporting and connecting two electric connectors. The fastener comprises a support portion provided with a support surface on a top portion thereof, a connecting hole penetrating the support surface and extending into the support portion, and a pair of clamping shoulders respectively arranged on opposing first and second sides of the support portion. The pair of clamping shoulders are made of a first elastic material at least at top portions thereof such that, when the fastener is mounted in a receiving slot of a fastener receiving member, the pair of clamping shoulders can be pressed against the fastener receiving member to provide an amount of elastic deformation, which enables the fastener to move a certain distance toward the electric connectors relative to the fastener receiving member when the fastener is connected to the electric connectors.

A plug socket includes: a first connector face for connecting a plug for transmitting electrical energy and/or electrical signals via at least one contact element; and a second connector face having at least one contact assembly which is fastenable or is detachably fastenable thereto, and which has the at least one contact element, and/or via which the electrical energy and/or the electrical signals is transmittable by at least one electrical line.

A connector includes an outer housing, an inner housing fitted to the outer housing, and a detection member assembled to the outer housing and restricted from being separated in a removal direction. The detection member has a flexible lock arm and a member-side protrusion formed on a free end side of the lock arm and facing an outer-side protrusion in the removal direction in an assembled state. When a locking arm gets over the outer-side protrusion and is locked to the outer-side protrusion, the locking arm moves in an insertion direction while being elastically deformed, and elastically returns after getting over the outer-side protrusion to press the member-side protrusion outward an inner housing accommodating space, so that the lock arm allows the outer-side protrusion and the member-side protrusion to be in a non-facing state in the insertion/removal direction, and allows the detection member to be separated in the removal direction.

A connector and cabling system is provided. The system includes a plurality of pigtails, each pigtail of the plurality of pigtails are configured to couple to one of a plurality of electronic devices, wherein each electronic device of the plurality of electronic devices has a corresponding box or package. The system includes a cable and a plurality of first connectors. Each first connector of the plurality of first connectors is configured to extend through and attach to a wall of a box or opening of the package with a first port of the first connector inside the box. The first port is coupled to the pigtail, and a second port of the first connector outside the box or package. The second port is coupled to the cable. The plurality of electronic devices is provisioned via the cable, the plurality of first connectors and the plurality of pigtails, with each of the plurality of electronic devices, in the corresponding box or package. A method of preparing electronic devices for shipping is also provided.

The present disclosure provides a fastener for supporting and connecting two electric connectors. A receptacle cage includes shielding walls forming a module channel configured to receive a pluggable module. The shielding walls include first and second side walls extending from a top wall to form a module channel configured to receive a pluggable module. The top wall is non-planar and has a shroud extending therefrom forming a cage polarization feature. The shroud has a first shroud side wall, a second shroud side wall and a shroud top wall forming a polarization feature channel configured to receive a polarization feature of the pluggable module.

A wall cover plate is provided for connecting directly to an electrical wiring device without the use of the base plate or adapter plate. The wall plate can have a connector such as a hook and/or prong that engages the housing for the mounting strap of the electrical wiring device. The electrical wiring device can include a removable connector attached to the mounting strap where the connector has at least one edge or coupling member for coupling with a faceplate. The faceplate can have an inner edge with a rib or series of teeth for connecting with the mounting strap or the removable connector by an interference fit.

In accordance with some aspects of the disclosure, a modular telecommunications patch panel system is shown and described. The panel can include a mounting frame extending between a first end and a second end, the mounting frame defining a plurality of apertures for receiving telecommunications components, a first mounting ear forming a snap-fit connection with the mounting frame first end, in a first orientation, and a second mounting ear, identical to the first mounting ear, forming a snap-fit connection with the mounting frame second end, in a second orientation.

Receptacles are provided for mating with plugs to establish electrical connections. The receptacles include a shell having a body, and a flange attached to the body. The flange has a projection extending therefrom. The receptacle also has an electrically-insulating insert positioned at least in part within the body; and one or more electrical contacts positioned at least in part within the insert. The receptacle is configured for mounting on a panel. The projection contacts a mounting surface of the panel, to establish a localized contact area that provides bonding between the receptacle and panel.
