Grommet-mount electrical power unit assembly
An electrical receptacle assembly is mountable at an opening in a work surface to provide convenient access to electrical power and/or data. The assembly includes a main housing and a housing shell. The main housing defines an interior cavity for receiving a lower portion of an electrical or data outlet, and has an outlet opening in which a face of the electrical or data outlet is supported. The housing shell is coupled to the main housing and surrounds at least a portion of the interior cavity. Respective outer surfaces of the main housing and the housing shell cooperate to form an outer surface of the two-piece housing that is insertable into the opening in the work surface. A fastener, which may be an internally threaded collar, engages the two-piece housing, which may be externally threaded, and also engages the work surface, to secure the assembly to the work surface.
Advanced panel mount connector and method
A panel mount connector and method involve a connector shell assembly that is configured to be received in an opening that is defined by a panel with the connector shell defining a through passage. A flexible circuit board is supported within the through passage and defines a first external connection interface at one end for external electrical access from one side of the panel when the connector shell assembly is installed in the panel and at least the first external connection interface is supported for independent movement relative to the connector shell.

The invention relates is to apparatus and components which can be provided and used in order to improve the manufacture of electrical apparatus which includes one or more connectors for the connection of one or more cables thereto. One type of connector to which the invention is suited is known as an F type connector. The invention allows a connection to be achieved using securing means to secure the connector body to a housing wall and access to be gained to the securing means whilst allowing the securing means to be substantially masked from external view as the securing means are substantially located with a recess portion formed in the wall.
Cable connector for electrically connecting electrical conductors
A cable connector for electrically connecting at least one first electrical conductor to at least one second electrical conductor. The cable connector includes an insulating-material housing, which has at least one first conductor insertion opening and at least one second conductor insertion opening. The second conductor insertion opening is opposite the first conductor insertion opening. The cable connector has at least one electrical contact in the insulating-material housing. The least one electrical contact is electrically contacted by a first electrical conductor via the first conductor insertion opening and by a second electrical conductor via the second conductor insertion opening. The first electrical conductor is loaded against the electrical contact via a first clamping spring and the second electrical conductor is loaded against the electrical contact via a second clamping spring such that the first electrical conductor is electrically connected to the second electrical conductor by means of the electrical contact.

A cable connector and method includes a female connector and a male connector. The male connector includes a threaded portion insertable through a standard Knock Out (KO) of a panel unit and a nut threaded onto the threaded portion to retain the male connector through the KO. The female connector including a threaded cap engaging the threaded portion to connect the female connector to the male connector.
DRY-MATE CONNECTOR SYSTEM FOR SUBMERSIBLE ELECTRONICS
A Dry-Mate Connector System (DMCS) is capable of a direct and convenient connection/disconnection of standardized Commercial Off-The Shelf (COTS)-compatible data communication cables and connectors with submersible electronic equipment for transmission of data/signals/power therebetween, and is suitable for indefinite submersion, as well as adaptable to full ocean depth. DMCS is equipped with sealing elements, a keying/alignment mechanism for proper alignment of COTS connectors for mating the portions, a locking mechanism to ensure the portions remain locked and pressure sealed, and a dummy plug for sealing the connector when not in use. Functional dummy plugs are contemplated to broaden the functionality.

In order to provide an environmentally secured voltage testing interface, an electrical enclosure box comprising a front panel is herein-described, into which is mounted a voltage indicator comprising a plurality of LED indicators that indicate a status of one or more circuits coupled thereto and monitored thereby. A compact test point device is also mounted through the front panel and comprises an interface comprising a plurality of external measurement sockets configured to receive one or more probes for manual measurement of voltages, wherein each external measurement socket is coupled to a voltage divider that is further coupled to each of a plurality of respective wires coupled to respective LED indicators.

The passthrough is configured to be installed on a roof deck, such that the aperture is configured to align with an aperture formed within the roof deck. The passthrough is configured to receive at least one cable having a first end and a second end. The second end of the cable is capable of extending outwardly from the first edge of the first layer and the first edge of the second layer of the passthrough. The cable is configured to be positioned intermediate the first layer and the second layer.
